Despite being just about the sloppiest friend group below the Mason-Dixon line, it looks like the cast of Southern Charm has made it to season 10. After watching the season trailer I have one question and one question only: Where in the world is Olivia? I get that last season was probs not a fun time for the girl who has basically done no wrong (except for the cardinal sin of getting involved with Austen Kroll, which simply never ends well) but as one of three level-headed human adults on the cast, I was hoping she would stick around to give him hell. Alas, it looks like the producers of Southern Charm were the ones to push Olivia out of the hot seat, in a strange move I’m going to need a very long explanation for. Let’s unpack the drama from the season 10 Southern Charm trailer, including why Olivia is missing, below.
What happened in the Southern Charm season 10 trailer?
If you’re looking for character growth of any kind, you’ve come to the wrong show, my love. Season 10 of Southern Charm promises the typical hootin’, hollerin’, and actin’ a fool by professional man-children Shep, Austen, and Craig, but on a slightly more elevated scale. By that I mean it looks like there are no drunken bar brawls this year which for this crew is worthy of applause. The main drama between the trio, as opposed to last year’s extremely messy love square revolving around Olivia and Taylor, seems to be that Craig is distancing himself to run his company and cater to his Summer House girlfriend Paige Desorbo. Shep has also apparently continued his “delusional” serial dating behavior with a gorgeous, gorgeous girl he met in the Bahamas, and Taylor (woman who made out with Shep’s best friend) for some reason has a problem with that. JT has taken time off beefing with his former flames on social media to fight with Craig over some bombshell statement he may or may not have said. TLDR: there’s a storm coming to Charleston, and I’m going to need a mighty strong mint julep to wash it all down.
Why isn’t Olivia on Southern Charm anymore?

Olivia Flowers was fired from Southern Charm after producers decided she was on a “different path” in life. Translation: Olivia found herself a new normal boyfriend and was spending time with her family in Texas, instead of overindulging in the Peter Pan syndrome like the rest of her former besties. Olivia was stunned by the lack of “communication” leading up to the firing because she still felt connected to Charleston even though her parents moved. Considering she’s now spending her newfound free time being happy, healthy, and in love instead of having to try to reason with an angry muppet, pretty sure you won, queen.
