Casa Amor Week happens every season of Love Island, and yet every time, I’m always shook. I spend the first half of the season this close to buying into the whole thing and believing that just maybe, at least, some of the couples might last. And then, bam! The bombshells arrive, and the great Villa/Casa divide begins. And this year, in Love Island: USA season 7, the divide was brutal.
Everyone went into Casa week single, even if they were coupled up in the Villa. “Think of it as starting from scratch,” host Ariana Madix explained. “Brand new couples, brand new relationships, and everyone gets a second chance at love. Because when everyone returns to the Villa — yes, everyone will be returning this year — there will be some very big decisions to make for all of you.”
So, the girls found new matches at Casa Amor, while the guys stayed back at the Villa, where they formed their new couples. And everyone succeeded in pairing up… except for two. TJ at the Villa and Maya at Casa each wound up all alone. In episode 20, they found out that they had 24 hours to find matches, or else they’d be out… even though Ariana promised everyone would return to the Villa. And so, we were off to the races. Here’s how it all went down and who got dumped this week on Love Island.
Who got dumped on Love Island: USA this week?
Amaya wasted no time trying to find someone new. She chatted with both JD and Zak, and Zak kissed her for a second time even though he was coupled up with Olandria. That kiss proved to be major for Amaya since Zak chose her at the re-coupling around the fire pit at Casa. That left Olandria vulnerable, and unfortunately, none of the bombshell guys wanted to re-couple with her. So, the group got a text that Olandria was dumped, which just really bummed everyone out since she was an original cast member this season.
Meanwhile, back at the Villa, there was a lot more couple-swapping. Vanna decided to re-couple with TJ, which then left Ace vulnerable. But Coco stepped up to match with Ace and left Taylor alone. Then, Clarke re-coupled with Taylor. Phew, are you dizzy yet? All that shuffling around ended with Clarke leaving Nic single. And that’s where things ended at the Villa.
So Olandria and Nic got dumped during Casa Week on Love Island. And it seemed like that was it. But, at the last second of episode 20, Olandria picked up Nic in a black car, telling him to hurry up and get in. It kind of seemed like the beginning of a spy mission, but more likely, it means the two of them are just still sticking around for more of Love Island season 7.
