Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been dating for over a year now. And while we already knew that this made him an expert in all things TSwift, what we didn’t know (and definitely did not expect) was that he would consider himself an expert in all things sex and relationships. Okay, maybe not an expert, but he definitely feels confident enough in his relationship prowess that he’s starting to give out advice on how to keep the woman in your life happy. And considering the lyrics to The Alchemy, we can say he’s doing a pretty good job.
In case you didn’t know, Travis and Jason Kelce just dropped a new weekly show, Heights Hotline, and it’s all about love, relationships, and how not to screw them up. Yes, that Jason and that Travis — the same Kelces who went head-to-head in the last Super Bowl and are now out here in the streets trying to save our love lives, one episode at a time. And just FYI, this is not your mom’s “Dear Abby” advice.
The whole thing started because New Heights, their original podcast, was a massive hit. Picture this: two NFL stars talking all things football, pop culture, and embarrassing sibling stories. Fans loved it, so naturally, the brothers are now expanding the brand, partnering with Wondery to bring us Heights Hotline, a spin-off dedicated to answering listener questions about dating and romance.
The show is all about the Kelce brothers’ “expert” advice — one half from Jason, a married dad of three with nine years of relationship experience, and the other half from Travis, whose claim to fame these days is dating Taylor. Listeners actually call in, and Jason and Travis take turns dishing out wisdom.
In their debut episode, one listener — a guy in his 50s, no less — called in with a question about what to do when his wife just isn’t interested in sex anymore. Jason came in hot with some advice about “setting the mood early,” which, fair. He said, “Just like men like to be sought after, women like to be sought after.” So, start warming things up way before you’re ready to make a move. Travis agreed but then dropped a classic “guy who actually listens” line: “Do some shit you know you’re supposed to be doing without her asking. Beat her to the punch.”
Translation: yes, guys, doing the dishes is sexy. And of course, Travis couldn’t pass up the chance to sprinkle in a little of his own romance philosophy. He told listeners to go full movie-style with candles, rose petals, and even a nice dinner to set the mood. Basically, go out of your way to make it special. And the man should know — this is the same guy who tried to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his number on it at her Eras Tour.
His final advice? “Not cheating is definitely the way to go.” Thanks, Trav. Appreciate the reminder.
