Oh Shit! There's A Bambi Down On 'Traitors'

Y’all, give the producers at Peacock a raise because The Traitors is raising my blood pressure every single week. Tonight’s episode had everything: fake tears that never dropped, Tom Sandoval accepting he is Voldemort, and even new fashions from Boston Rob. Most importantly, a dearly beloved Bambi got the axe with the support of her own besties. I’ve been the first one to sing Chrishell, Nikki, and Gabby’s praises as the hottest new girl group in Scotland. But where did things go so wrong? Personally, I’m starting to get a little suspicious about the number of female murder victims biting the dust. Can Carolyn and Danielle please get their shit (and breath patterns) together so the girls can run this shit as intended?

Spoiler alert: This story contains details from season 3, episode 5, so go see Alan Cumming right now if you’re not caught up.

Who died tonight on Traitors? Nikki Garcia, unfortunately, met her end on Traitors in the fifth episode.

Why was Nikki Garcia banished?

Nikki was chosen because the Faithfuls were still convinced that one of the three chosen placed in the coffins was secretly a Traitor trying to mislead them. Lol, funny enough that is what Danielle wanted to do with Carolyn, but Jeremy, Ciara, and Nikki were the ones ultimately added to the shortlist. Since Jeremy was killed, the Faithfuls were only left with Nikki and Ciara to pick from as covert killers.

Ivar is the one who presented Nikki’s name, along with Rob and Ciara, as up for discussion. Boston Rob sweet-talked his way out of the hot seat, and Nikki even co-signed his being a Faithful (poor girl). Ciara’s best defense was to accuse Nikki of being too calm, cool, and collected to be a Faithful. Nikki in turn tossed the accusation right back on Ciara, saying she was weirdly standoffish since they were in the coffins. (Apparently, Nikki Bella does not watch Summer House because being standoffish is kind of Ciara’s calling card.)

In the end, most people believed Nikki was the biggest bad, especially after her own roll dog, Chrishell, delivered a shaky speech admitting Nikki could be a Traitor. Chrishell said that she hoped she was wrong, and that they would remain friends IRL, but Nikki’s energy had been off lately. Unfortunately for the good guys, Nikki made a heartbreaking speech when she left the castle as a Faithful. “The win for me is that I do get to go home to my son. The loss for all of you is that I’m a Faithful.” Daaaaamn, Nikki.

In her final goodbye confessional Nikki said she was “really upset right now” because “it was really hard to have the people that [she] loved in this game not stick up for me.” Naturally, Chrishell felt “terrible” about “sending home her best friend.” Even worse she had to be nice to Tom Sandoval for even a second. Tough!
