Bravoholics, finally, some good news: Christmas came early. That is to say, the full trailer for Summer House season 9 is finally here, and (despite opening with a v triggering flashback to the reunion from hell and ending with a Schwartzy jump scare) it looks GOOD. NGL, I was fairly worried when the best sneak peek the producing team had to offer at Bravo Fan Fest was an underwhelming clip of the cast playing an electric shock game. Like, if Bravo truly thought (after the three-part shitshow that set the internet ablaze) that fans wanted more footage of Kyle Cooke’s ZaNy AnD WiLd behavior, I was going to be very, very disappointed. But disappointment is a bitch I don’t know (at least today) because all the dramatic storylines in this season 9 trailer low-key gave me whiplash trying to keep up, like Zendaya in Challengers. If you, like me, are a “click pause every five seconds to make sure I heard what I thought I just heard” type of person, here’s a Summer House season 9 trailer breakdown.
Summer House Season 9 Trailer
What happens on Summer House season 9?
According to the trailer, which I’ve watched about 75 times, there are several bits of major drama to keep an eye on during the upcoming season of Summer House. Picking up where we left off with Lindsay in the offseason, her pregnancy announcement and mysterious relationship with her Hubb Cubb’s papa-to-be has her frenemies asking lots of questions, such as his name and why they don’t live together yet. (I’m sorry, was Danny Girl’s dramatic departure post all for naught? Why is she in the trailer at all?) Though internet sleuths have since uncovered the man’s identity, I’m curious to see how much Lindsay shares about her partner, who she told Betches was a supportive boyfriend (if not super fashionable).
Who did Carl cheat on Lindsay with?
Obviously, the Lindsay and Carl drama hasn’t disappeared just because Linds is with child. I’ll be waiting with bated breath to discover who “this girl” Lindsay alleges Carl was talking to “since before [they] broke up.” Since Carl having a proper job was a huge point of contention between the two ex-fiances, it’s kind of sweet she’s willing to add new skills to his resume, no?
Do Jesse and Ciara hook up?
From what we see in the trailer, Jesse is all in on the new girl, Lexi Wood. But Lexi quickly becomes at odds with Ciara after Lexi spots Jesse “flirting” (I mean, when is Jesse not flirting?). Lexi yells that she “doesn’t trust” Ciara, which seems to cause a rift between Jesse and his model housemate (who, to be fair, had already accused Jesse of being a dirty dog last year when her man turned out to be the one barking).
Are Paige and Amanda still friends?
Season 9’s preview sure makes it seem like Paige is a lot closer to Ciara this summer than she is to Amanda, as she opens up to Ciara about a potential breakup with Craig. Amanda spent a lot of the summer supporting Kyle’s dream to become Diplo (lol) while Paige seems to have taken issue, yet again, with her best friend’s boyfriend’s BS. Kyle and Craig’s reckoning over hard seltzers happens while they’re both dressed in pirate costumes (ugh, love this ridiculous show) and potentially escalates to a heated dinner argument where Kyle accuses someone of “slander.” That someone could be Paige, who Kyle calls “two-faced.”
Who is Imrul Hassan?
Imrul is “a seasoned real estate professional” of over three years, according to his bio for a New York-based real estate company. His bio also declares he loves basketball, surfing, sports in general, and “globe-trotting.” So, Imrul is basically every other dude on Raya, got it.
Who has the threesome on Summer House?
From the short clips seen in the trailer, Jesse asks Imrul how many people he had sex with last night and Imrul replies, “Just the two.” Could be a dry joke, or two separate incidents of sexy time in one night. Guess we’ll have to tune in to find out.
