Sarah Halle Corey is an entertainment writer and screenwriter with a passion for rom-coms, 1990s-2000s nostalgia, and niche pop culture deep dives. She's based in LA, but has roots in New York and Chicago, and so she has really complicated feelings about pizza.

I think we can all agree that Tina Fey is the queen of TV, right? With a list of credits that includes Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and more, the woman knows how to make a comedy hit. So obvi, all eyes are on her latest series, The Four Seasons, which dropped on Netflix on May 1.

The series is actually a remake of a 1981 movie starring Alan Alda and Carol Burnett, but it got a major 2025 update for Netflix. Season 1 of The Four Seasons stars Tina, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Marco Calvani as three married couples who go away together for a friend group vacay, only to learn that one of the couples is about to break up. But don’t worry, The Four Seasons is still a comedy, and it’s a super cozy watch.

“I hope audiences feel like they are inside a big sweater with us, and also having a dinner party with us, and I hope that any of the joy and warmth that we all feel for each other all transfers to them, and that we are a comfort and provide some laughs for them in their home,” Tina told Netflix.

Truly, all I want from life is to be wrapped up in a big sweater with this cast. So now that we’ve watched all eight episodes of The Four Seasons season 1, let’s get down to business: Are we getting another season? Here’s everything we know about The Four Seasons season 2.

Is The Four Seasons Getting A Season 2?

Good news! Netflix has renewed The Four Seasons for an eight-episode second season. Season 1 ends with a cliffhanger, so there’s definitely more story to be told. And FWIW, the cast seems to be very excited about making more of the show.

Kerri Kenney-Silver, who plays Anne, told Glamour: “We’re all dreaming for more. We would do this show till they turn the lights out. It has been the most fulfilling experience for all of us. We all have our fingers crossed, but you never know what’s going to happen. I don’t care if the next season is in a basement in Dayton, Ohio, and there’s some sort of lockdown. I would show up. Selfishly, as an actor, I just want to be around these people. I would follow Tina Fey anywhere.”

(It’s kind of a given, but spoiler alert for the ending of The Four Seasons season 1.)

So, season 1 of The Four Seasons ended with the big shocker of Steve Carell’s character Nick’s death. But that wasn’t the only surprise. His girlfriend Ginny (Erika Henningsen) reveals she’s pregnant with his baby. So yeah, I kind of need to see what happens next. Are Ginny and Anne gonna raise the baby together? It’s some juicy TV drama, and I want more.
