Amid wild rumors about his marriage and fans expressing concern about his well-being, Justin Bieber went off on paparazzi in the Palm Springs area. (He and Hailey Bieber are in town for Coachella, which kicks off this weekend.) Confronting photographers is a pretty signature move for the singer, who really hates people snapping photos of him when he’s trying to go about his daily life. I mean, I’d be pissed too. But Justin seemed particularly angry and aggressive on Wednesday morning when paps found him and his friends outside a coffee spot. He got in the men’s faces and accused them of only caring about money — not human beings. Here’s a full breakdown of Justin Bieber’s intense Coachella paparazzi fight.
Justin Bieber’s Fight With Coachella Paparazzi, Explained
Why Was Justin Bieber Mad At Coachella Paparazzi?
It all started when Justin and some friends approached the coffee shop and the paps were there waiting for them. One of the photographers said, “Good morning,” and that appeared to set Justin off. “No, NOT good morning!” the singer replied. “You already know! Why are you here? You just want money! Money money money money money money!”
As the group of men snapped photos, Justin continued to scold them and make the “give me money” gesture in front of their cameras. “Get outta here, bro!” he yelled. “Money! That’s all you want. You don’t care about human beings.” The paps didn’t respond, but kept recording him. The whole interaction was only about 30 seconds, and when the photographers showed no signs of leaving, Justin gave up and went into the coffee shop with his friends.
Recently, Justin’s been open about his struggles with anger issues and insecurity. In a March 22 Instagram post, he shared, “I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh.” That same day, the “Peaches” singer randomly reshared a January 2019 post from Hailey. “No matter how amazing life may look from the outside I struggle,” she wrote at the time. “I’m insecure, I’m fragile, I’m hurting, I have fears, I have doubts, I have anxiety, I get sad, I get angry.” The Rhode founder reflected on not feeling “good enough” and “struggling to be confident.” Both of these posts from Justin came one day after he and Hailey were photographed in West Hollywood when they went to dinner at a sushi spot there.
Hopefully, the Palm Springs paparazzi leave Justin alone so he can have a nice time at Coachella! He clearly just wants to be fan in the crowds at the festival, and I don’t blame him.
