Is Justin Bieber Okay? A Mid-2025 Wellness Check For The Beliebers

Needless to say, it’s been a brutal few months of headlines for Justin Bieber. I feel like there’s a new round of divorce rumors about him and Hailey Bieber daily That whole “I told her she was never gonna be on the cover of Vogue” situation was rough, to say the least. Not to mention, Justin’s had multiple intense confrontations with paparazzi (“It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business!”), and his Instagram activity gets stranger by the day. Just yesterday, he posted screenshots of a dramatic friend breakup without revealing the person’s identity.

Because of all his odd behavior, Beliebers has expressed concern that Justin might be struggling with substance use. There’s a TikTok video of the singer chatting with a fan at Hailey’s L.A. Rhode pop-up in February, and fans have speculated about his health in the comments. One person wrote, “That man is higher than the moon,” while another declared: “Anyone who has ever lived (with) an addict knows these mannerisms. It’s brutal.” They’ve raised similar concerns over paparazzi photos of Justin in New York — his eyes look red, and there are dark circles under them.

So, is Justin Bieber okay?? Here’s why fans are getting more and more worried about the singer, plus his response to rumors that he’s on drugs.

Is Justin Bieber Okay? Drug Rumors Explained

What’s Going On With Justin Bieber?

Just this week, Justin was filmed yelling at cameraman outside Soho House in Malibu. “Stop provoking me,” he warned them, visibly upset. “Don’t fucking do this shit to me. I’m not to be fucked with…leave me the fuck alone!” It was just the latest of his many tense run-ins with paps over the past few months.

In an Instagram post a few days later, he randomly shared receipts from an emotional friendship breakup. “I will never suppress my emotions for someone,” Justin texted this person, per the screenshots he posted. “Conflict is a part of relationship. If you don’t like my anger you don’t like me.” He added, “Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean.”

In response to the unidentified person accusing him of “lashing out,” Justin wrote, “Ouch. This friendship is officially over. I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out. I enjoyed our short lived relationship.”

These distressing new headlines came less than month after the Hailey Vogue cover debacle. In case you missed it, the Rhode CEO attempted to shut down divorce rumors in her May Vogue cover story, but Justin immediately reignited the speculation with an Instagram post about the cover. “Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” he wrote in his since-deleted caption. “I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue.” To make matters even worse, Justin added that he was “sadly mistaken.”

Justin seemingly responded to all the chatter about his relationship and well-being in a candid June 16 Instagram post. “People keep telling me to heal,” he reflected, adding, “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already? I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues.”

“I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry,” the singer continued. “The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am.” He noted that it’s Jesus who keeps him going these days — very on brand. “Honestly, I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately, aren’t you?” he finished the message.

Justin Bieber Responds To Rumors That He’s Using Drugs

Despite fans’ worries and speculation, a rep for Justin confirmed to TMZ that the rumors about Justin using hard drugs are “absolutely not true.” I’m breathing a sigh of relief. According to the rep, the singer is actually in a great place right now, focusing on his baby son, Jack Blues, gearing up to release new music, and planning to celebrate his 31st birthday this week. (What? I stg he was 15 like yesterday.)  They added that the past year’s been “very transformative for him as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”

A few months ago, the pop star unfollowed his former friend, Benny Blanco, which is to be expected, considering Benny’s now engaged to his ex, Selena Gomez. In January, Justin also blocked his former manager of 15 years, Scooter Braun, on Instagram. The social media shade came two years after Justin and Scooter messily parted ways. So yeah, he’s definitely been cutting people off!

Justin’s rep told TMZ that the narrative about Justin’s mental and physical health declining is “exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.” Oof.

The spokesperson addressed those troubling NYC paparazzi photos, explaining that Justin was simply exhausted because he hadn’t slept much the night before. Apparently, he was busy recording new music and taking care of his son. The rep also claimed that the fan interaction at Hailey’s Rhode event was just a “nice, giggly” chat with a big fan, and there’s nothing more to it.
