Listen, I love subtly misogynistic, vanilla male DJs as much as the next girl (I hate them). And John Summit is the stereotype embodied. Who the fuck is this man and why is he suddenly all over my social media? It’s a question I’ve unfortunately had to ask myself for about two weeks now. I feel like there’s no way John actually existed before his June appearance on Jake Shane’s podcast, Therapuss… TikTok is just gaslighting me into believing he’s had a long and successful music career.
Apparently, this man is a big name among sorority and fraternity folk, and a lot of people think he’s hot. John’s getting more attention now after being being linked to Alix Earle’s sister, Ashtin Earle. Naturally, I got curious about the mysterious and annoying DJ’s other girlfriends and fuckboy reputation, so I did some important research. Here’s everything John Summit has said about his dating life, and all the tea on his past girlfriends.
When John was a guest on the Full Send podcast (I’ve never heard a podcast name more straight white male in my life), he revealed that he was in a serious relationship before his famous DJ days, back when he was a normie accountant. “When I was a CPA, I had a girlfriend and stuff,” he said on the show. “And then as soon as I went full-time DJ, I [was] like, ‘That’s not working out.'” What a gem. John claimed that having a girlfriend while being a DJ is “impossible,” noting, “I can’t really say too much, but I would not trust any DJ to be honest.” No way! So good to know.
These days, the chronically online community believes that there’s something going on between him and Ashtin Earle. During July 4th week, John and Ashtin were spotted making out, dancing, and holding hands at several parties in the Hamptons. He even seemed to post the influencer on his Instagram Story… a blurry photo, but it certainly looked like her. Considering his personality and their nine-year age gap, I’m guessing these two are just hooking up, but ya never know.

John gave some fascinating insights into his dating life during his Therapuss appearance. The DJ told Jake that he hasn’t seriously dated anyone in five years now, and he also revealed that he’s not a romantic. “I’ve never gotten a girl flowers,” John boldly declared. When Jake looked horrified, John was quick to correct himself: “I’ve gotten my mom flowers once!” Should we give him a sticker?
For some reason, he kept going on this flower tangent. “‘Cause like, unless they’re asking for it, why would you just give it?” John asked Jake. “What if they’re allergic?” He’s literally just looking out for women’s health.
If you’re still interested, John was allegedly on New York City Hinge as of June 2023. And I feel pretty confident he’s still not in a committed relationship now.
