Umm Is Jax Fired From 'The Valley,' Bravo?

They say that learning to leave while the party is still good is a major key to life, but I’m afraid Jason Jax Taylor Cauchi is being called to leave the reality TV game long after things have gone from good for him to a total shitshow. And it’s, of course, impacting everyone around him, from Brittany and their son Cruz to their fellow castmates in his line of fire, to low-key the fans at home having to digest this wild behavior, wondering fearfully how things could get worse from here.

Trust, I’m strong enough to survive the reality TV trenches; I saw Taylor Armstrong through death and divorce in seasons 1-3 of RHOBH, I watched Brooks fake cancer and Vicki go down with him on RHOC, and I bore witness to 11 seasons of straight debauchery on Vanderpump Rules, in great part due to Jax Taylor. Yes, Schwartz threw a beer on his future wife. Yes, Tom Sandoval had Racquel over when Ariana was away in the jacuzzi as well.

But with a decade of dirty wrongdoings recorded on TV, one bit of betrayal that occurred within spitting distance of a hospice bed remains the most shocking lore. “Does everybody remember when Jax fucked Faith?” Yes, we do, and now, two shows and almost ten years later, Jax still hasn’t appeared to have gotten his act together. Like, even a little bit! In fact, with allegations (that Jax has confirmed) of verbal and physical abuse using objects, Jax’s act has only gotten harder to watch. It was high time the #1 guy in the group stopped having a platform to scream, “MY SHOW,” which is why it’s not a total shock that Jax Taylor is “stepping away from” The Valley to spare us all.

Jax Taylor Updates: WWHL Comments, The Valley Drama

Is Jax fired from The Valley, Bravo?

Jax announced he is leaving the Vanderpump Rules spinoff ahead of filming the third season. “After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I’ll be stepping away from the next season of The Valley,” Jax said, which, um, makes a lot of sense! Jax explained that “taking this time is necessary for [him] to become the best version of myself” by focusing on his sobriety, mental health, and co-parenting his son with Brittany, Cruz. Amen.

Jax says his actions on this season of The Valley are “triggering”

“First of all, I want to apologize to everybody who’s watching this right now. The stuff that was shown was pretty triggering to a lot of people,” Jax told Andy Cohen when confronted with the fact that many Bravo fans believe he should be removed from the platform. “Nobody should have to deal with the way” he acted, including “verbal abuse,” Jax conceded, referring to multiple scenes on the show where he verbally impacted Brittany.

Jax is “very sorry to Brittany”

Jax said it had been “a very tough year” for him and Brittany, and for that, he is sorry to Brittany specifically (when heavily prompted by Andy).

Is Jax Taylor still sober?

Jax confirmed in Clubhouse on June 17, 2025, that he was then “201 days sober.” Jax clarified that 201 dates back to when he got out of rehab. He is allegedly drug tested by his therapist, according to Jax, though that’s not a legal requirement for his case with Brittany regarding their son, Cruz.

Jax sees Cruz “two to three times” a week

Jax says his co-parenting with Brittany has been “really good,” and he “can’t complain.” According to Jax, with their busy schedules, they often trade off days at a time or weekends with Cruz when it’s convenient for the other.

Are Jax and Brittany legally divorced?

Jax told WWHL that his divorce should be official by July 21, 2025. “That’s the plan,” he confirmed to AC.

Jax should’ve ended his relationship with Brittany “a long, long time ago”

When Andy pressed Jax on just how long the relationship has been unsalvageable, Jax said, “I can’t tell you how many months, but it should’ve been a long, long time ago. We just, we let it go, and it just got so toxic.” Agreed! Jax even said Brittany should’ve rated their sex life a “one” because “the last thing [he] wanted to do was be intimate with her” in the later stages of their relationship. Yikes!!

Jax Taylor Watch What Happens Live Poll Reaction

Jax didn’t seem in much of a ~hilling~ mood when every poll from viewers at home went heavily against his favor. As fans voted that they were on Britt’s side in the divorce, that Brittany had a right to pack Jax’s stuff in trash bags (Jax agreed), and that Jax deserved the petty OTT bar rebrand, Jax crossed his arms, looking rather displeased about the numbers.

What happened during Jax’s return from rehab on The Valley?

The most notable part of Jax’s return from rehab is his repeated belief that drugs and alcohol are not “his issue.” According to Jax, his “way bigger” problems are actually his “ego, anger, control, and manipulation,” as shared on WWHL. Those June 2025 thoughts only echoed Jax’s proclamation while filming The Valley in 2024 that “anger is his drug,” as he learned in rehab, not any actual substance (like cocaine) during a heated confrontation with Zack Wickham at Jesse’s house.

Brittany had previously exposed Jax’s cocaine addiction before he entered rehab: “Jax, you have the coke problem. Everybody knows it. Own up to it. Be real with the doctor.” When Jax accused her of using cocaine, too, Brittany replied, “I’m not saying I never have, but you’re the one who has the addiction. Give me a drug test right now, I will pass. Will you?” Jax’s silence was pretty damn deafening at the moment, but since then, Jax has openly shared his addiction with the world. However, while he was in the treatment center, Brittany alleged Jax got the front desk staff to lie that he was having a health crisis and that Jax was watching her from their security cameras, using rage texts Jax was sending her in real time about her conversation as proof.

For someone who came fresh out of treatment, Jax showed a lot of big opinions and defensive demands for others (rather than himself): he was going to Zack’s party at Jesse’s house no matter who was invited, he was mad at his friends for not visiting him, and he was even madder at Brittany and thus paying her back by renegging on giving her the podcast money to make up for missed mortgages (as he’d promised to Jason Caperna on screen).  On his own end, Jax (at the time) said he did not intend to stop drinking at his first dinner with friends after rehab. Instead, he advised Danny Booko that Danny should take care of his evident alleged drinking problem.
