We’ve all been there: You’re finishing the final touches on your going-out look and you’re about to head out the door when your phone dings. And before you even look down at the notification, you pretty much know what it says — someone is canceling on you. Now, in a typical situation, this text probably looks something like, “Sorry, I’m not feeling well,” or “Something came up at work.” But some people have used absolutely insane reasons to cancel on them last minute.

You might have one of two reactions to someone canceling plans on you. You could be extremely elated (couch and jammies, here I come) or you could be incredible annoyed (what a waste of an outfit).
