If you spend any time on TikTok, you’re probably aware that there’s a major Cody Ko controversy happening at the moment. It all started when Tana Mongeau alleged that she and Cody hooked up several years ago when she was 17 and he was 25. Tana’s been speaking about the situation in interviews and on her podcast, and other creators (like D’Angelo Wallace and Brittany Broski) have also started sharing their own takes. Cody hasn’t made any kind of statement yet, and everyone’s eagerly waiting to hear his response to Tana. We reached out to Cody’s team for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
But I also find myself wondering: How is Cody’s wife, Kelsey Kreppel, doing right now? Cody and Kelsey have been married for a little over a year, and they just welcomed a baby last January. I imagine it can’t be easy being a new parent, hearing about these allegations, and watching the internet cancel your husband. Kelsey is 30, so she’s about three years younger than Cody. Naturally, she spent an episode of Circle Time discussing her 30th birthday and shared that she had a few friends over to celebrate, and they enjoyed burgers and ice cream.

After meeting at Kelsey’s apartment back in 2017 and then dating for six years, Kelsey and Cody tied the knot on February 4, 2023 at the Sands Hotel and Spa in Indian Wells, California.
Yup, Kelsey and Cody share a son — they welcomed baby Otis in January 2024. “Our little guy arrived last week and everyone is happy and healthy,” Cody captioned an Instagram photo of Kelsey holding their son. “We feel like the luckiest people in the world. We love you, Otis 🩵.” I have no doubt Otis will have a successful social media career one day.
Kelsey hasn’t publicly reacted to the controversy surrounding her husband. She hasn’t even posted on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube since it all started. Although she has continued to release episodes of her podcast, Circle Time, over the last few months, she hasn’t discussed the situation on the show.
There’s no evidence to suggest they’ve split.
