Taylor Frankie Paul’s Mom Defended Her New Look Post-Plastic Surgery

The moms of MomTok aren’t the only ones enjoying a new life of fame thanks to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Their moms (aka the grandmas of MomTok?) are stepping into the spotlight, too. Taylor Frankie Paul’s mom, Liann May, has had a big presence in season 2 of SLOMW. She’s been there for Taylor and her three kids as her daughter deals with MomTok drama and her on-again/off-again relationship with Dakota Mortensen. Taylor has also been really supportive of Liann throughout her plastic surgery journey.

That’s right. After SLOMW had taken off, Liann decided to go under the knife for a little refresher. “So my mom wanted to get a nose job and then got her whole face done,” Taylor explained on the show. “When I saw her post-surgery, I was like, ‘Mom, what did you do?’ She looked like she got hit by a bus. But she’s healing well, and if she feels great, great.”

But not everyone is happy about Liann’s transformation. Many “ignorant people” have been hopping on Liann’s Instagram to critique and accuse her of being jealous of Taylor. The trolls think Liann is simply trying to become her daughter, but Liann posted on IG, telling them to “get your facts straight.”

“I ❤️ Tay & my other kids more than life itself,” she wrote. “I would never be jealous of them. That’s ludicrous! I don’t have to want to look like my daughter, she looks like me! It’s called genetics!”

She went on to describe exactly the cosmetic work she had done. “I did get a nose job and [blepharoplasty], and not my whole face, but I wished I would have now, & paid with my OWN money, I don’t need Taylor’s.”
