Another day, another long-ass TikTok series exposing a man. Needless to say, I support this movement. First, we had Reese Teesa’s “Who TF Did I Marry,” then we had Brooke Schofield ruining Clinton Kane while chilling in a bathrobe, and now, we have Madeline Argy accusing Central Cee of cheating on her with Ice Spice. This latest influencer and musician crossover drama is enthralling but a little sketchy — Madeline shared five TikTok videos explaining what went down between her and the rappers, and the internet isn’t totally sure what to believe. Central Cee and Ice Spice being linked now is convenient, considering they’re currently promoting their new collab, “Did It First.” And of course, influencers like Madeline are always trying to get views. That being said, Central Cee and Ice Spice have been looking cozy lately.
So, are Central Cee and Ice Spice actually dating? Did he cheat on Madeline with the rapper? Is it all just an elaborate PR stunt? Let’s get into it.
The Madeline Argy, Central Cee, And Ice Spice Drama Explained
Did Central Cee Cheat On Madeline Argy With Ice Spice?
Okay, so Madeline Argy and Central Cee (formerly one of the most chaotic British couples out there) initially dated from September 2022 to September 2023. However, fans thought they were back together in June 2024 after they were seen vacationing in Nigeria and looking like a couple. Buttt, then Central Cee was spotted shopping with Ice Spice in London… shortly before he and the “Deli” rapper released a song together about cheating on people. Coincidence? Madeline and I think not.
In Central Cee and Ice Spice’s new track, “Did It First,” he raps: “I’m selective with who I get with / Gyal on my phone tryna see who I slept with / She investigating, detective / Lucky for me, I deleted the message / All along, it was me and a bad bitch / But I told her it was me and my bredrin.” I fear this is not the flex he thinks it is. In Ice Spice’s verse, she says, “If he cheatin’, I’m doin’ him worse / No Uno, I hit the reverse (Grrah) / I ain’t trippin’, the grip in my purse.” Naturally, the rappers also made a steamy music video where Ice Spice is lying on top of Central Cee in bed.
Madeline spilled the tea from her POV in a five-part TikTok series. “Let me take you guys back a couple months,” she said. “I’m laid up in bed and [Central Cee] comes to me and he’s like, ‘I have a new song to show you.’ And I’m like, ‘Yes, serenade me!’ And then he plays me his verse. I’m like… not only did you just snitch on yourself that you’re cheating, but you just told me exactly how.” Oof.
Apparently, the rapper claimed that the lyrics were just part of a marketing stunt and that he wanted to start a dating rumor to promote the song. According to Madeline, the Nigeria trip was all part of his scheme — Central Cee wanted those photos of him and Madeline to get out ahead of the song and the Ice Spice photos. It was all supposed to contribute to a juicy narrative.
“I didn’t even actually get to break up with him and he’s already with the next girl!” Madeline alleged in one of her TikToks. A few days before the influencer’s birthday, Central Cee commented “Trouble” on one of Ice Spice’s Insta posts, and the night before her birthday, she saw Central Cee and Ice Spot at the club together.

Umm, Central Cee and Ice Spice haven’t publicly commented on Madeline’s allegations, nor have they confirmed that they’re dating. But Ice Spice posted a July 13 Insta dump that features some pretty couple-y photos. In one shot, Central Cee has his arm around her and is looking down at her. There’s also a closeup of her hand resting on his arm. Technically and scientifically speaking, this post could be classified as a soft launch. They also recently performed “Did It First” together at the Wireless Festival in London, and there was certainly a vibe.
Is The Central Cee, Madeline Argy, And Ice Spice Drama A PR Stunt?
It’s very possible. Madeline and Central Cee had been broken up for a while before all this drama, and she honestly doesn’t seem that upset in her videos detailing the situation. Not to mention, her TikToks are getting millions of views, and she’s dedicating an episode of her podcast, Pretty Lonesome, to reacting to the “Did It First” music video. Obviously, the rumors are working out nicely for Central Cee and Ice Spice, who are enjoying plenty of streams and music video views. At the very least, I’d say the Central Cee and Ice Spice dating rumor is a strategy to promote the song, and Madeline may or may not also be in on all of it.
