On April 19, 2024 Tianna shared a painfully adorable video of her gorgeous engagement to NFL star Cody Ford. Fans were elated to see the couple they’d been following for nearly two years now through new houses, training camps, and naturally a Tarte influencer trip (the true TikTok rite of passage) seal the deal on their ~love~. Except what Tianna’s followers didn’t know is that the early stages of her and Cody’s relationship apparently things weren’t such easy sailing. As Tianna shares in her interview with Alix, she forgave some misdeeds in their early days after she met Cody through mutual friends in Dallas and thought they had overcome them. Now if you ask Reddit, which I obsessively do, this bumpy start may or may not have been the fact that Cody was quietly still dealing with a long-term relationship with his ex when he started dating Tianna.

Either way, it seemed like Tianna went from an up-and-coming influencer fangirling over players, including Cody, on the sidelines to a wildly popular wife-to-be with a constantly chaotic million-dollar home to upkeep and a man who looked at least mildly annoyed by her presence at all times. Maybe it’s because I’m scrolling with 20/20 hindsight, but the videos Tianna would post videos of them fighting in a parking lot over buying a Gucci bag or her dancing in Cody’s face saying she hoped he knew what signed up for were low-key more cringe than cute. Tianna realized things weren’t right when intuition had her feeling off during a girls’ trip to Paris. After coming back to Dallas, while hosting a live on TikTok, Tianna’s mods alerted her (in front of everyone) that someone had DMed them that they had proof of Cody cheating… truly savage. According to screengrabs shared on TikTok it seems Cody did what any internet-famous adult would do, which is live-stream his feelings on Twitch. The account which by all accounts appears to be that of Cody Ford hasn’t been officially verified yet. After fans got a good chuckle out of the fact that it seems like Cody has a picture of himself as his own background, the man who claims to be Cody Ford began to stream Tianna’s interview with Alix to give his live reactions. The stream gifted us the following heartfelt ramblings: “I did love Tianna. We had a lot of fun times. There were a lot of times that were good, there were a lot of times that were bad. Like she said, we tried to always grow through everything and uhhh… it sucks because I know I fucked up her life or I really fucked up what we had going. Because we were, I thought we were on the right track.” Very compassionate and contrite, right? Right. Until he goes on to say, “There’s a lot of stuff that people don’t know about the ins and outs of relationships, such as ours. Everyone who’s in a relationship has their differences and their moments where there’s things that need to be worked on from both ends.” That’s a bit ominous.
He then goes on to make the astute observation that at least nobody is pregnant, so in the end everything kind of worked out! Ummmm, that’s definitely not not true… so way to see the glass as half full, I guess? The most interesting part of his most silent Twitch stream is the following loaded statement: “There’s a lot of conspiracies out there about what has happened and none of them have been correct.” So is this person implying something other than cheating tore the relationship apart? Or that Cody never cheated at all? He finishes by saying that he’ll be sharing his side of the story on a different podcast soon so I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
