10 Deals From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale You Don’t Want To Miss Out On

I’ll start by saying that I’m highly aware that times are tough, but I also know that the one thing that always helps get me through these hard times (other than wine) is some good old fashioned retail therapy. And fortunately for us, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale has arrived just in time for you to make yourself feel better by hitting “check out”. And not only is this the sale of all sales to buy yourself some new fall pieces at exclusive prices, but it’s also the prime time to take advantage of rare sales on new beauty, accessories, and home pieces with prices that you just won’t find anywhere else. It ends on Sunday, so don’t sleep on this sale.

1. Socialite Crewneck T-Shirt

Socialite Crewneck T-Shirt, $25 $15.90

This tee is easily going to be a closet staple as we transition from summer to fall. The neutral snake print makes it trendier than your classic white tee, while the print is still subtle enough it can be paired with multiple different looks. Wear this tee now with a pair of distressed denim shorts and sneakers or, in a couple months from now, layered under a jacket or a cardigan.

2. Avec Les Filles Moto Detail Coat

Avec Les Filles Moto Detail Wool Blend Twill Coat, $335 $199.90

Once you’re out of college, it’s crucial that you have a nice fall coat that isn’t just some dirty jacket you stole from a frat a few years ago. You need a high-quality piece that makes you look polished and as if you have your sh*t together, even if you actually don’t. The coat above is knocked down more than $100 off its regular price, which is an amazing deal.

3. 7 For All Mankind Dojo Wide Leg Jeans

7 For All Mankind Dojo Wide Leg Jeans, $168 $99.90

As fall approaches, it’s time to start considering your denim situation. This pair from 7 For All Mankind is the ideal pair to purchase right now during the anniversary sale because they can seamlessly transition from summer to fall. The light wash color keeps the jeans summer-appropriate, while the trendy wide leg silhouette makes them stylish for fall.

4. Leith Cozy Long Cardigan

Leith Cozy Long Cardigan, $69 $39.90

This cardigan comes in several different colors and is currently almost half off. I personally love a cardigan all year round. You can wear it now on a summer night paired with denim shorts, and then into the fall layered over all your basics. This cardigan is the perfect weight and length to casually layer over tanks, tees, or even over a fitted turtleneck as we move into the colder months.

5. Vince Low Top Sneaker

Vince Low Top Sneaker, $250 $149.90

Everyone needs a good pair of sneakers to wear with jeans and leggings in the fall. This pair by Vince is a classic style that is sure to work with all of your fall outfits. Whether you’re running errands or heading out on the town (with your mask, of course), these sneakers are perfect for the occasion.

6. UGG Wade Throw Blanket

UGG Wade Throw Blanket, $178 $118.90

If you’re going to treat yourself to something from this anniversary sale, let it be this gorgeous and cozy blanket from UGG. There’s nothing more comforting and luxurious than snuggling into a premium blanket at the end of a long work day, even if it is just a work-from-home type of work day. Regardless, you deserve it.

7. Voluspa Vermeil Set of 5 Mini Tin Candles

Voluspa Vermeil Set of 5 Mini Tin Candles, $50 $33.50

Since we’re all spending so much time at home right now, it’s important that we do everything we can to keep our environments zen. And I know that for me, even when my room is “was she hit by a tornado?”-level-messy, if I at the very least just light a candle then it gives me an instant sense of calm. Right now you can get this pack of beautiful and high-quality candles for just under $35.

8. Supergoop! Limited-Edition Set of 3 Body Mist

Supergoop! Full Size Play Antioxidant Body Mist Set of 3, $63 $42

Supergoop! has quickly become my go-to sunscreen over these past few months. Their products do the job of protecting our delicate skin while still respecting our need to want to look good. By that I mean, their products effortlessly fit into any beauty routine and don’t make it look like you’re wearing sunscreen even when you are. With this limited-edition value set of three, you can keep a bottle in multiple different places so that you can be confident you’re always taking care of your skin.

9. Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Secrets Set

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Secrets, $91 $68

Charlotte Tilbury’s pillow talk shade has become a universal favorite among celebrity makeup artists as the perfect pinky-nude color. I personally own this shade in the lipstick and lip liner, and can attest to it being both stunning and flattering. Right now during the anniversary sale, you can even get the full trifecta of lip-enhancing pillow talk products for a major discount.

10. Too Faced Hangover Prime, Set, Refresh Set

Too Faced Hangover Prime, Set, Refresh Set, $66 $39

If you, like many of us, are drinking more in quarantine (no shame), chances are your skin is showing it. Too Face’s two-piece set includes a hydrating primer and a setting spray to bring your skin back to life. Formulated with probiotic-based coconut water and skin revivers, it will instantly hydrate your skin while locking in makeup so you can face the day again.

These exclusive anniversary sale deals were already starting to sell out as I was trying to write this article. That being said, my advice to you is to follow the wise words of Ariana Grande and if you “see it, like it and want it”…then you should get it.

Nordstrom Is Paying Influencers To Say Their Stores Are Safe

In 2020, it really feels like we’ve seen it all. This is the year of COVID, murder hornets, bubonic plague, and worst of all, Nickelback is making a comeback. But back to COVID—while the pandemic rages on, lots of places are navigating reopening, with varying levels of precautions in place. In most places, including New York City, stores have reopened their doors in the last month or so, but it’s understandable that a lot of shoppers don’t feel completely comfortable yet, especially when you can buy pretty much anything online.

But if stores are going to spend their resources on having their physical stores open, it makes sense that they want those stores to be bringing in the cash. Now, brands are using their resources to get customers shopping in person again, with big in-store sales and ads announcing their reopening. And Nordstrom is taking things a step further with an interesting strategy to lure customers: in a new campaign, they’re paying influencers to post about how safe the stores feel. Yes, really.

Here’s a sponsored post from Wendy Nguyen, a fashion blogger with over a million followers. Photographed wearing a mask in Nordstrom’s NYC flagship store, she writes in the caption that her visit to the store was “so refreshing,” and that “everyone was wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and incredibly kind.”

I haven’t been out in months and this visit to @Nordstrom was so refreshing. Everyone was wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and incredibly kind. Even shoppers, strangers as we were, stopped and had meaningful conversations. I think we just all miss the human contact. And miss seeing pretty shoes and bags too 😍😍😍 #nordstrom #sponsored

A post shared by Wendy Nguyen (@wendyslookbook) on

Nguyen also said that she had “meaningful conversations” with other shoppers, which sounds like my worst nightmare, but sure. I didn’t like small talk before, and I definitely don’t need to chit chat with randos now!

Another influencer, Aïssata Diallo, wrote in her sponsored caption that Nordstrom is “a destination of discovery which you simply cannot experience online.” Lol, the way these people talk about a store makes me glad I’m not a fashion blogger. Diallo noted the sanitizing stations throughout the store, and said she felt “sooo comfortable + safe knowing the safety measures Nordstrom has taken.”

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱> – More than a store, @nordstrom is a destination of discovery which you simply cannot experience online. Store highlights include Nordstrom x Nike (Level 1), the art throughout the store, and the pink Ettore Sottsass Mirror (Level 2) just to name a few! #Nordstrom #Sponsored – I absolutely appreciated the sanitizing stations that was at every corny. It made me feel sooo comfortable + safe knowing the safety measures Nordstrom has taken 🥺🙌🏾

A post shared by Aïssata Diallo (@aissatatdiallo) on

For the new campaign, Nordstrom teamed up with marketing company Captiv8, whose founder Krishna Subramanian spoke to Business Insider about the collaboration. Subramanian sees the campaign as a “natural extension” to previous “social good” initiatives about brands making masks and supporting frontline workers, which seems like a stretch if you ask me. I must be missing what donating PPE to hospitals has to do with being able to buy a new pair of Louboutins in person. Subramanian says the new posts draw on the “trust and emotional connection” influencers have with their audiences, and that they can create “wish you were here” moments that will hopefully drive customers back into stores. So far, Nordstrom is the only brand to employ marketing tactics like this, but Subramanian said that his company is currently working on similar influencer campaigns for other major brands.

While Subramanian said that these types of posts offer “transparent views on retailers that are opening,” I’m not sure I really want to get my safety information from someone who’s being paid specifically to say positive things. Like, do you think the Kardashians actually believe any of the shit they say about Flat Tummy Tea? Everyone knows that advertisements should be taken with a grain of salt, so maybe COVID precautions aren’t a topic where we should be taking the advice of influencers being paid to share a specific message. I completely believe that these influencers felt safe at the store. Fun fact: I’ve been to the Nordstrom flagship recently, and I felt safe too (and I’m not being paid to say it). But when it comes to decisions about going back out in the world and resuming our normal activities, we should probably pay more attention to actual safety measures, and not the influencers on the company payroll.

10 Tie-Dye Pieces You Can Actually Buy Now

Truth be told, (which is what I thought #tbt stood for back when Instagram first became a thing) I did not fully understand this revived obsession with tie-dye. Like overalls, I kind of thought tie-dye was a thing of the 90s that should have stayed there, especially since my only experience with it was in 2004 at a summer camp literally I tried to escape from. However, upon doing some research for the purpose of this article, I’ve found a few tie-dye pieces I would definitely wear and I can happily admit that I no longer hate the trend. In fact, I want all of the pieces I found and maybe thanks to unemployment money, I can get them!

If you no longer associate tie-dye with hippies and children and want to expand your style horizons, these are the seven pieces you’d love. But act fast, because just like loungewear, tie-dye is selling out at the speed of light.

Splendid Twilight Tie-Dye Pullover, $148

I actually own this sweatshirt and it’s one of my favorite things in my dresser. Yes, I paid nearly $150 for a f*cking sweatshirt. Judge me. Here’s the thing, though: you know how your grandmother’s front lawn always had those low-growing plants with inexplicably soft fuzzy greenish gray leaves? That’s literally what Splendid loungewear feels like. It’s like a kitten’s ear. It truly makes no sense to me, but I’m not going to question it. This sweatshirt in particular is in muted enough colors that you can definitely wear it out and not feel ridiculous . I’d pair it with a pair of white boyfriend jeans and silver ballet flats.

Free People Movement Love Tie Dye Tank, $23.20

free people tie-dye tank

Need a casual shirt for lounging around? Something you could do your light walk around the block in? Boom, and this color combo is on sale right now. What more could you want?

French Connection Satin Tie-Dyed Dress, $98

On the model, this dress kind of looks like something Serena van der Woodsen would wear to sleep, but I would most definitely wear this out. I would wear it with a pair of Greek-looking sandals that you tie around your ankles. The dress is kind of quiet, so pairing it with something with a little more personality would really tie (dye lol) the whole thing together.

Dippin’ Daisy’s Serene Tie Dye One-Piece Swimsuit, $33.60

Are swimsuits canceled this year? I have no f*cking idea, but I’m being hopeful anyway. This one piece is business in the front, party in the back with a low back and cheeky cut on the bottom. I feel like you could get away with wearing this to your family pool party and a day club (remember day clubs?) equally.

Urban Outfitters Out From Under Jenny Tie-Dye Fleece Jogger Pant, $49

I feel like you can’t name a pair of tie dye joggers “Out From Under Jenny” and give zero context in the product description, but okay Urban Outfitters. Tbh, I haven’t stepped into an UO since I was in high school, but their loungewear has been on point as of late. I am very particular about joggers because I don’t like when they’re too baggy or too fitted, and these are right in the middle. They’re also made of a a fleecey type of cotton, so they’re definitely very cozy.

Emerson Road Tie Dye Haze PJ Set, $68

Shopbop calls this a PJ set, I call it a working from home outfit. This lightweight jersey set has a cute pastel color scheme and tie details on the side, which basically makes it formalwear if you ask me.

Herschel Supply Co. Chapter Carry On Vanity Case, $30

If you want to jump on the tie dye bandwagon, but don’t want to wear it on your person, consider a super-cute and extremely durable cosmetic bag. It’s got a zip closure and a few extra pockets so you can stash your random Chapsticks or whatever, and it’s lined.

Onzie High Rise Basic Midi Legging, $32

I’m a huge fan of Onzie’s leggings, sports bras, and activewear in general, so these leggings will be perfect for my socially distant runs. (JK, it’s more like a jog, if you’re very loose with your definition of “jog”.) Anyway, they’re high rise and high performance, so you can actually do a legit workout in them.

Target Tie Dye Leggings, $17

From a distance, these leggings look more like marble than tie dye, which I’m not mad about. I like that the pattern and colors are subtle enough that you’re not out and about silently screaming for people to look at you. These are another item I’d happily wear out. I’d throw on a white tee and an oversized denim jacket and call it a day.

ASTR the Label Retrograde Square Neckline Bodysuit, $68

Ugh, this bodysuit is so perfectly summery that it’s making me kind of sad. I might just get this to wear it around my house underneath some jean shorts while gazing longingly out my window and pretending I’m on a rooftop.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Has Fall Staples You’ll Want To Stock Up On

If you’re not already aware via every fashion blogger on your Instagram feed, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is officially here. And, per usual, this sale does not disappoint. The whole idea of the sale is to encourage you, me, and the rest of consumerism America to purchase all your new fall pieces now before you actually really need them. And, in order to convince us to do so, they offer great discounts on said pieces. This isn’t like a normal sale, where they discount all the old sh*t—these are new pieces with limited-time prices. Of course, who’s to say you’ll still want these items when fall does finally roll around and there’s a whole new set of covetable fall arrivals? But that’s not the point.

Given how good the deals are from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, it seems like the financially responsible thing to do here is just go ahead and order these great fall pieces now, before the price shoots back up. But, fair warning, everything is going super fast… it was actually tough to even write this article considering how quickly all the sizes keep selling out. So, if you like something, don’t hesitate. See it? Like it? Want it? You got it…if you order ASAP!

1. Sanctuary City Knit Oversize Blazer

Now: $92.90
After Sale: $139

This oversize blazer, which is also available in plus sizes, is the perfect combo of cool and chic. You could totally wear it to the office with full confidence that you look super professional, then out to happy hour and still look stylish. Depending how strict your office dress code is, you could even just switch out your work blouse top underneath for a casual tank or tee. You could even wear this blazer out and about à la Hailey Baldwin Bieber with some cut-off jean shorts and chunky dad sneakers. Simply put, this blazer can pretty much be worn all year, so there’s legit no reason not to buy it.

2. Something Navy Midi Slip Skirt

Now: $49.90
After Sale: $79

Slip midi skirts are a fall staple, and this floral one by Something Navy is a true fall wardrobe must-have. It also comes in that leopard print every single girl in New York City is wearing this summer. Whatever pattern you choose, you can easily pair this skirt with a cute graphic tee for early fall when it’s still relatively warm out, then transition it for late-fall/winter with a chunky sweater. Not to mention, this too is a piece that works for both the office and the weekend because it’s both stylish and HR-approved.

3. Rails Hunter Plaid Shirt

Now: $99.90
After Sale: $158

Okay, I already know what you’re thinking—that’s a deal for a flannel?! Hear me out, it totally is. That’s because this isn’t just a regular flannel, it’s a Rails flannel. They’re super soft, timeless, and just pretty much all around the sh*t. Plus, unlike your Forever21 flannel, this one will actually last you more than one season. I personally LOVE this navy one with the pink stripes, but they’re all cute so I would highly recommend getting at least one.

4. Good American Good Curve High Waist Straight Leg Jeans

Now: $123.90
After Sale: $185

Everyone’s fave Kardashian, Khloé, gave us 100 more reasons to call her our favorite with the creation of her denim-focused size-inclusive brand, Good American (check out the plus sizes here). And now, she gave us more reasons to like her with these incredible black high waist straight leg jeans that I NEED for fall. Everyone who has tried Good American denim raves about the fit, so if you haven’t gotten on the bandwagon yet, now’s the time to do so while you can get this pair for more than $60 off.

5. Givenchy 47mm Sunglasses

Now: $216.90
After Sale: $325

I obviously realize that not everyone is currently in the market for designer sunglasses but, if you are, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is the time and place to treat yourself to a pair. They have all kinds of styles from top brands like Fendi, Dior, Tory Burch, Ray-Ban, etc. They even have less pricier styles from Rebecca Minkoff, Kate Spade, and Marc Jacobs. So, even if this gorgeous Givenchy style I’ve selected isn’t exactly the style you personally want, there are a ton more options.

6. Topshop Topstitched Crop Twill Jacket

Now: $52.90
After Sale: $80

Cropped jackets are the ideal transitional jacket from season to season. This oversize cropped one from Topshop can be just as easily worn now as it could be in a few months from now paired with a fitted turtleneck underneath. Okay, maybe not worn exactly now given we’re in the middle of a heat wave, but then again, with everywhere blasting their AC as a result, you may want to have it with you just in case. Right now it’s only $53, which is an unbeatable price for a jacket you can legit wear all year.

7. Marc Fisher LTD Unique Bootie

Now: $129.90
After Sale: $199.95

This is the perfect simple bootie that will pair with everything in your closet this fall. It actually comes in four different colors, all of which are chic and easy to pair. You obviously have to get the black pair to have as your basic staple bootie for fall and winter, but then you def need the red pair to elevate an otherwise basic outfit and make a statement. Of course, then you also have to have the dark gray pair for when you need something slightly softer than black. And then, you need the pale pink pair because they’re honestly just beautiful. You basically need all four colors, so you might as well just go all in while they’re on sale.

Like I said, if you haven’t already checked out the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, then you need to head over to their site right now before your size is sold out. Honestly, that report that’s due to your boss by end-of-day today can wait—this is important. Hopefully, they will understand. The prices go back up on August 5, so hurry hurry hurry!

Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale Is On And Here’s What To Buy

It’s that time of year again! Obviously, I’m not referring to the holidays because they’re lame, but something better—Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale. Yes, seriously. Just when you thought you couldn’t spend anymore godd*mn money this month, well, think again because you’ve always got something stashed in your savings or in your coat pocket or whatever. The biggest sale started yesterday, so there’s a ton of time left to run to your nearest Nordstrom or to start loading up an online cart.

As usual, the store is offering up to 50% off many, many must-have items including Topshop, Rebecca Minkoff, Michael Kors, and like, a bajillion more brands. The sale goes through January 2, which happens to be the perfect time to stock up on a fresh and chic af new wardrobe to kick off the new year. Since all the good things always seem to sell out quickly, here are seven things you shouldn’t hesitate on and get ASAP before they’re gone.

1. Topshop Horn Button Denim Miniskirt

It may not be summer weather anymore, but that doesn’t mean you have to swear off skirts for the next few months. In tundra-like temps, rock one like this with sexy black tights, ankle booties, and a super cozy sweater. This one is like $30 and comes with a button style everyone seems to be wearing these days, so it’s basically a win-win.

2. Adidas Adibreak Track Jacket

Windbreakers are totally in again, in the least ’80s way possible. Bible. Cop one early to get a head start on spring.

3. Boded Francesca Ribbed Sweater

What’s another oversize sweater to your closet anyway? This one comes in two pastel, neutral shades and feature a fun, balloon sleeve that’s probs a pain in the ass when you’re eating, but still earns you a ton of compliments.

4. Hunter Original Tall Waterproof Rain Boot

These are about as basic as UGGs, but like, if you don’t own a pair already, wtf are you waiting for? Rain sucks and f*cks up every other good pair of boots so buying Hunters on sale is kind of a no-brainer.

5. Laura Geller Glam On Demand Palette

The limit does not exist for how many contour palettes one could possibly own. This one rings in at just over $20 and features a blush, bronzer, and highlighter that give you the perfect natural-looking summer glow, even in the dead of winter.

6. Keds for Kate Spade New York leather Sneaker

Everyone and their mother owns a pair of Adidas, Vans, and Converse. Switch up your usual go-to for one that’s a bit more underrated, chic, and insta-worthy, but still comfortable enough to go from the office to the bar in.

7. The Volon EZ Mini Leather Crossbody Bag

I feel like we can all agree on the fact that every crossbody previously owned is either lost or literally falling apart. In case you’re in desperate need of an upgrade, this minimalist trendy style is spacious enough for all of your junk without looking bulky, making it v worth the splurge.

5 Hideous Pieces Of Ivanka Trump Clothing In Honor Of Its Demise

This week will go down in history as the “Cries Heard ‘Round The TJ Maxx Clearance Racks,” due to Ivanka Trump’s announcement that she is closing her hideous namesake fashion brand because nobody likes her in order to focus on doing nothing for women’s rights. Sad. I could take this opportunity to delve into the “news” side of this issue and dissect what this means for the future of Daddy’s Little Girl, but instead I’m going to give the people what they want: a roast of Ivanka Trump’s fugliest clothing. I am a true American hero, and you are welcome.

1. Shine Bright Like a Barbed Wire Fence

Here we have what appears to be a chain link fence dipped in the glitter that comes in those little tubes that you find at your local dollar store. Cute! Please note how the patterns do not match up at the seam. Ummmmm, fashion DON’T alert!!! What can Ivanka say, she just *loves* the ‘stuck behind a fence/cage’ look…

2. My 2nd Grade Tissue Paper Art Project

Okurr, so up next is what happens when you sneeze into a tissue, but like, your snot is made up entirely of black ink. And then you sneeze again, but this time your snot releases a splash of cheap, ugly-ass lace. Viola!

3. Hemp Gone Wild

Knock knock. Who’s there? Your puka shell necklace went on its own spring back and came back as this truly offensive wedge. We’ve all gone to Florida and come back with a greasy hair-wrap, so we get it, girl.

 4. I Don’t Even Fucking Know

Coming to the stage is a lewk that was most certainly inspired by when the drawstring in your waistband comes loose, because it looks as though that drawstring has been ducktaped to this dress. V recyclable/trash-chic.

5. The Jellyfish From Spongebob Made A Shirt

Oopsies, looks like The Great Barrier Reef got drunk and threw up on one of Ivanka’s shirts again. Don’t worry, in case this heinous pattern isn’t enough for you, there are also the flaccid ruffle sleeves to top off the lewk.

I could keep going all day, because the limit to this clothing brand’s trashyness does not exist. But I have better things to do, like scroll through my own Instagram pictures. Bye!

Heads up, you need to keep up with the news. It’s not cute anymore. That’s why we’ve created a 5x weekly newsletter called The ‘Sup that will explain all the news of the week in a hilarious af way. Because if we weren’t laughing, we’d be crying. Sign up for The ‘Sup now!

Summer Styles You Need To Snatch Up From The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

Anyone who’s anyone knows that this weekend is the weekend that unofficially kick-starts the summer. Memorial Day weekend is basically a preview of what’s to come in the upcoming months after we spend too many hours under the sun drinking La Croix cocktails. I cannot fucking WAIT. By this point in the year, the weather has (hopefully) warmed up so that we can dig out our favorite shorts, new bathing suits, and flattering dresses to the many drunken pool parties, boat parties, and barbecues we’ll obviously be attending. The perks of this upcoming weekend don’t stop there, though. I’m talking about a 4-day weekend, which means no Monday morning at work (praise fucking be), much-needed getaways, and of course, the insanely good shopping deals your email inbox will be overwhelmed with. The biggest (and clearly, the best) would be the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale that starts today and goes through June 3rd. Trendy af styles will be 40% off, so now’s the time to get those sandals, tops, and skirts you’ve been eyeing on Instagram influencers.

1. WAYF Kean Wrap Crop Top

This isn’t like, a regular crop top. It’s a cool crop top with a v extra wrapped tie you can easily take from the beach to the bar. Both subtle stripes and nautical vibes are in rn, so definitely be sure to pack this with you next time your plans involve a yacht.

2. Topshop Twill Asymmetrical Wrap Skirt

Skirts are everything at the moment, so if you haven’t amped up your game since your Laguna Beach days, you should probs consider grabbing a couple of styles during the Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale. This simple black wrapped skirt can easily be worn in the office and to happy hour without any judgment or passive-aggressive emails.

3. Free People Counting Daisies Embroidered Off The Shoulder Dress

You’ll look both in theme and appropriately patriotic for Memorial Day and Fourth of July with this white and red off the shoulder dress. You go, Glen Coco. It’ll go perfectly with the new tan you’re bound to get this weekend and looks fab when paired with block heel sandals (see #6) that also happen to make your legs look miles long.

4. WAYF Polermo Wrap Maxi Dress

It wasn’t until this spring that I developed an entirely new appreciation for maxi dresses. But only the styles that are decorated with boho chic prints and make me look tall, lean, and classy. This chiffon style is obviously a reminder of why we love millennial pink, and it will def get you a ton of likes every time you post a Boomerang in it.

5. 4SI3NNA Crop Jumpsuit

The limit does not exist for how many jumpsuits you can own in the summer. Especially a black one (or two) that show your die-hard dedication for an all black wardrobe, regardless of the season (and make you look slimmer).

6. Mercedes Castillo Darea Ankle Tie Platform Sandal

And of course, with a new summer wardrobe and attitude, you need cute new shoes. Fucking duh. Wraparound styles always get you so many compliments, and as we’ve established, a low block heel AND platform gives you extra height without a ton of pain. It’s just a bonus that it comes in a neutral shade because then you know you’ll be wearing them out to plenty of nights of bar hopping.
