After Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please, Please, Please” music video, we as a society couldn’t be more aware of her public romance with Saltburn hottie Barry Keoghan. Obviously, we’ve known they were dating for a while — Barry loves to wear friendship bracelets with her name literally everywhere and he just so happens to be at every single one of her concerts. It’s really giving Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce (Mini Version). A lot of people don’t trust Barry ’cause of the whole ~ he’s a dad and where is his kid these days ~ thing, but the “Nonsense” singer doesn’t seem to mind.
Sabrina’s iconic dating life actually began long before she ever laid eyes on Barry. Bradina is one of my favorite throwback Disney Channel couples <3. They started dating in 2014 and Sabrina told J-14 how their romance started. “[It was a] really unique way to ask someone out,” she said. “[It was] like the pirate movies, like, they do the little bottles and they put notes in them and send them across the ocean, like one of those, and [he] put a note inside. It was cute.” That’s my Good Luck Charlie king, raising the bar.
Sabrina and Bradley broke up after a year of dating, but there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between them now. Bradley recently complimented her on his podcast, The Sit and Chat. “My first girlfriend’s doin’ way better than anybody, mostly in the world, I would say,” he said. “She’s way too good for this podcast.” True… but I’d still love to see her as guest.
Joshua Bassett
If you don’t know this story, you can’t call yourself a pop stan, I’m sorry. Sabrina and Joshua famously dated in the summer/fall of 2020 after he and Olivia Rodrigo split. Their most iconic couple moment was probably when they dressed up as Shark Boy and Lavagirl for Halloween and posted cute pics and videos of their costumes.

This gets me emotional cause I really saw the Shawbrina vision. Sabrina and Shawn were spotted together in January 2023 and shortly after that, they left Miley Cyrus’ release party together. Understandably, we all assumed they were deeply in love. I’m still coping with the fact that this was either entirely platonic or a brief little fling. Getting us all excited for nothing, SMH.

And at last, she found her beloved Irishman, who inspired my most favorite “Nonsense” outro: “Man his knees so weak he had to spread mine / He’s drinkin’ my bath water like it’s red wine / Coachella, see you back here when I headline.” Sabrina and Barry have been dating since the end of 2023 and he’s pretty much become a Sab groupie, but they just made hard launch history with her brand new music video, “Please, Please, Please,” which stars the Saltburn actor. It’s a Barbrina summer, I fear.
