All The 'Real Housewives Of London' Rumors I Hope Are True

Ladies who simply never recovered from the fact that Ladies of London was unjustly canceled, assemble! The reality TV gods have once again smiled upon us with the official announcement of The Real Housewives of London on October 26, 2024. First, there are a few people I’d like to thank: Caroline Stanbury for paving the way for bitchy bougie Brits to live their best life on screen, Shannon Beador for enduring the OC girls’ trip to London from hell which I personally feel generated enough good karma to make this happen, and Andy Cohen, because, obviously. The new franchise is already a historic moment as it is the first-ever Hayu original series (Hayu is an international streaming platform owned by NBCUniversal that has traditionally brought US programming abroad). But what does that mean for us American Bravoholics and which UK stars have already hinted they’re joining the cast??? Here’s everything about The Real Housewives of London including casting rumors.

Will The Real Housewives of London stream in the US?

Given the effort NBCUniversal (who owns international streamer Hayu) put into the announcement (including flying out US housewives for Hayu FanFest), it feels extremely likely that RHOL will be available to NBC customers in the US, most likely through Peacock. Need more proof? When Made In Chelsea (made by the same producers behind the new London Housewives venture) was streaming in the United States, it was on Peacock.

When will The Real Housewives of London premiere?

According to the announcement, production starts soon with a planned release before the end of 2025. I love instant gratification!

Who is on the cast of The Real Housewives of London?

So far the strongest fan rumor is that PR partying legend Fran Cutler is helming the show. Fran has made the rumors seem super legit by reposting one fan video with the caption “The secret’s out” to her Instagram story. Fran also reposted The Standard’s article about her potential casting, so she’s either truly a done deal or presenting a very compelling case to the Monkey producers that she should be one. Her history as Kate Moss’ ex-BFF and the reigning hostess with the mostest through the 2000s to the UK’s it couple scene makes Fran a juicy option.

Other huge reality names from the UK are being honed in on, like Ekin Su from Love Island, Sophie Habboo from Made In Chelsea, and of course, Caroline Stanbury (who is already dominating The Real Housewives of Dubai, but could potentially be the first Housewife to star on two franchises at once). English socialites like Poppy Delevigne (Cara’s chiller older sister) and Lydia Millen (influencer and author) have also been suggested as obvious picks.  I for one, would love to see a TOWIE star or two in the mix, like Olivia Jade Attwood (also from Love Island), Lydia Bright, or Lauren Pope. Is asking Victoria Beckham to dive head into the reality pool after dipping her toe in via David’s Netflix doc too much to ask for? Maybe not considering how Posh Spice charmed the whole damn world in Beckham without even trying.
