Many people are wondering what’s next for the United States of America now that Trump is reclaiming the presidency. With the cosmic climate rapidly changing, we will see many astrological forces push the country to evolve and become more politically active. No matter what side of the political spectrum you fall on, the one thing that is certain is that the desire for freedom and liberty is strong. Harris said, “Sometimes the fight takes a while.” And it will. But we’ll be ready.
These are the astrological aspects that stand out the most to me, as a professional astrologer, for the remainder of 2024 and the year 2025 that will have long-term impacts on the government and politics, as well as the charts of candidates.
Unrest For The Collective
Pluto, the planet of transformation, will re-enter Aquarius on November 15, taking us back to the beginning of the year and Spring 2023. This is the beginning of a new era. What is most interesting about this 20-year transit is that it activates the South Node of Destiny in the U.S. and Trump’s birth chart, reckoning the past. Karma is coming, forcing the country and Trump to adjust their philosophies. The government will be transformed when Pluto connects with the U.S.’s natal Moon in Aquarius in approximately 18 years. It’s up to us to make the U.S. a better place for all. We have to join forces and work together.
Watch Out For Delays, Confusion, And Misinformation
Mercury enters its pre-retrograde shadow on November 7, so frustrations and unclear information might come. The retrograde commences in Sagittarius on November 25 and lasts until December 15. We must double-check the news and conspiracy theories and see if our ballots have been calculated. The post-retrograde lasts until January 2.
Now, no one says there is misinformation around the election’s outcome. Still, no state has counted 100% of the votes cast on November 5. It is going to take a hot minute. The planets are not helping, either.
The Drama Continues
Mars’ pre-retrograde shadow began on October 4 in Cancer. The action planet formally begins its moonwalk in Leo on December 6 and completes the cycle on February 23, 2025. The post-retrograde vibe completes on June 2, 2025. What does this mean? The aftermath of Fall 2024 will linger on until Spring 2025. The fight will rage on and get messier as Mars backslides from Leo to Cancer and moves forward again. No one will back down from their stance and feelings (especially during the retrograde) until the retroshade (the wonkiest time of any retrograde) finishes on June 2, 2025.

Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, is in Gemini, but it’ll enter Cancer (Jupiter’s favorite sign) on June 9, 2025. Coincidentally, this marks the beginning of Jupiter’s return (approximately every 12 years when Jupiter returns to the place and degree it was at the time of birth) for the United States. What can we expect? Regarding our beliefs as a country, we are rediscovering what we need to grow and harvest. A paradigm shift that brings abundant wisdom and positive change in our thinking is possible when Jupiter aligns with the U.S.’s natal Sun in Cancer. The Revolution Is Coming
You say you want a revolution? Once the U.S. and Trump begin their Uranus return in Gemini (starting on July 7, 2025 — it’ll waffle back-and-forth between Gemini and Taurus for a bit until 2026 and then remain in Gemini for seven years). Trump is a Gemini who will begin to experience his Uranus return in Gemini (roughly every 84 years). More likely, he’ll be more erratic and fanatic. However, the country will use its voice to push back against the ideology imposed upon us. Uranus, the planet of disruption and social change, will get loud in Gemini. We can’t stop and won’t stop!
