Paul and Gracie were dating back in the fall of 2023, according to v serious news source DeuxMoi. These rumors came from an anonymous tip that said Paul — who dated Phoebe Bridgers for two years before their 2022 breakup — was spotted “hanging out” with Gracie.

Photos of the pair dining together at BRAT in London made the rounds on June 30 (blindly assuming that’s a Charli XCX tribute restaurant). At one point it does look like Paul is reaching out to brush Gracie’s cheek which is blocked by a civilian’s poorly timed head movement. But it’s also possible she had lettuce in her teeth and he was getting it out for her, or something equally platonic, right? Delusional girlies, there’s your saving grace. After speculation of a budding romance earlier in June, Paul and Gracie let the PDA rip on a date in the Mayfair neighborhood of London in August. Nosey fans (the best kind) in the crowd told The Daily Mail that the pair “didn’t seem shy” about their apparent relationship, holding hands and sharing kisses. Gracie and Paul were also spotted in July shopping on Bond Street on a break between her UK concert series. And even though I roll my eyes every time my friend publicly kisses her boyfriend (at the group hang he wasn’t invited to), in this case, I kinda get it. Nice work, hot rich people.

According to the witnesses’ claims, Gracie was first visibly upset followed by Paul dropping “his head in his hands.” Oh my, that sounds like a very sad love song in the making!

The gawkers were “shocked at how public” the ~potential~ breakup was, which allegedly ended in Gracie leaving the restaurant with both parties in tears. Later that weekend, another anon source claimed to good ol’ DeuxMoi that Paul was still upset at a Sunday roast with his sibs.

And then suddenly, things were totally fine, nay “strong,” between them. An anonymous source told People in April 2025, “Despite their busy schedules, the couple is making each other a priority. There’s no denying the strong chemistry between Paul and Gracie, true lovebirds.”

But it’s not just some good PR that has people thinking Paul and Gracie might be engaged. Gracie has made public appearances with a chunky diamond on her left ring finger, including at the Billboard Women in Music event in March and the 67th Annual Grammys in February 2025.
