To be an iconic comedian like Nikki Glaser, you gotta have a healthy amount of lore that you’re willing to share with the world. After all, the sets for sold-out stand-up tours and Emmy-nominated Max specials don’t write themselves! After 20 years in the entertainment industry, the comedy queen, who’s famous for her epic roasts of celebs, has no shortage of life experiences to write about and joke about. In various interviews, Nikki’s opened up about her relationships with men in the industry, and she’s also shared how her past drinking affected her dating life.

Nikki is currently dating TV producer Chris Convy. They’ve been in an on and off relationship for over a decade now, and per Nikki’s 2024 interview with Howard Stern, they’ve broken up at least five times.

Nikki and Chris met back in 2013 when they worked together on her MTV show, Nikki & Sara Live. “I just had a crush from afar which was so fun because I was just pining for him constantly,” Nikki recalled during a 2022 interview with Graham Bensinger. “It was very Jim and Pam [from The Office], I was Jim, and he had no idea.” A very on-brand comparison.
When she spoke about her relationship on The Howard Stern Show, Nikki reflected on why she and Chris have split so many times. “I think the off and on is because committing to anything forever, I think that forever makes me think of no other adventures,” she explained. “It’s kind of admitting defeat, it’s settled.” That being said, the comedian confirmed that she’s “in love” and noted that they’ve worked on their issues.
Before her relationship with Chris, Nikki had a situationship with fellow comedian Pete Lee. “Pete Lee and I fell in love when I was 20,” she revealed on her You Up radio show in 2018, adding, “Pete Lee was my first love.”

They met in Kansas City, where she was doing a guest set and he was featuring in a comedy show. According to Nikki, Pete had a girlfriend back in New York at the time and didn’t break up with that girlfriend, so Nikki’s fling with him eventually ended. Although she was angry for nearly a decade, they eventually reconnected as friends. Personally, I’d never speak to that asshole again, but to each her own!
In November 2019, Nikki revealed on her You Up radio show that she was seeing comedian and actor Dan Soder shortly before he dated her friend, Hannah Berner. “I was extremely jealous of you because you got to be what I didn’t get to be, which is like, his girlfriend,” Nikki admitted to Hannah on the show. Hannah joked that all she got to do was sit on the couch in Dan’s Astoria apartment, which was under a loud subway. Definitely no tension there — Nikki and Hannah laughed about being “eskimo sisters.”

During her interview with Howard, Nikki shared that she used to have anxiety about sex, and used drinking to help ease that. After she quit drinking in 2011, she took a break from having sex for a couple years. “I went from hooking up pretty frequently to not kissing anyone, not doing anything,” she told the radio host. “I’m still with the first person that I hooked up with after I quit drinking because I had to really get to know him and like him and crave him sexually in a way that wasn’t just brought on by being drunk.”
