The Cowboy Carter Tour is truly the event of the season; it’s a can’t-miss concert, even for the Royals. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aka Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a a special date night at the Beyoncé concert on May 9, and Meghan shared some photos of it on Instagram. Meghan and Harry are pretty selective about what they choose to share on social media and what they don’t — most photos of their kids, Archie and Lilibet, just show the backs of their heads — so it’s kind of a big deal that Meghan was so open about sharing pics of their date night. And it’s an even bigger deal when you realize those pics show some rare royal PDA.
Ever since Meghan made her grand return to IG at the very beginning of 2025, she’s been posting like… well, like a girlie who’s fresh on the ‘gram and eager to share. Most of her posts feature the Sussex’s gorgeous Montecito, CA life (including tie-ins to her new lifestyle brand As Ever), but this latest post is pure mom and dad’s night out.
In the caption for her Beyoncé concert Instagram post, which she added to her grid May 10, Meghan wrote, “About last night…. Thank you @beyonce and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love.”
Here’s a look at Meghan and Harry’s PDA from the Beyoncé concert.
Meghan and Harry’s Rare PDA At Beyoncé Concert
The Instagram post features a carousel of photos and videos of Meghan and Harry at the Beyoncé concert, including an adorable video of Harry planting a big smooch on Meghan’s cheek. There are also some photos of the couple cheesing hard together and Meghan dancing.

Harry fully stuck to the theme of the Cowboy Carter tour with a cowboy hat, which Meghan borrowed for part of the show. In one of the photos in the IG post, Meghan showed how Harry’s hat was personalized with little nods to his life: the names of their kids; “My Love” (his nickname for Meghan); the American, British, and California flags; and an outline of the map of Africa.
Meghan and Harry are more than just fans of Beyoncé; they’re also close enough to text. In their 2022 Netflix docu-series Harry & Meghan, Meghan shared that Beyoncé texted her “just checking in,” and Meghan said, “I still can’t believe she knows who I am.” I mean, I think it makes perfect sense that Queen Bey and the Duchess are friends.
