Every generation has its heartthrob leading man, we may have just found ours, or at least a top contender. Matthew Broome is the star of the new romantic drama Prime movie My Fault: London, and I’ll be honest, I have a hard time understanding how he and co-star Asha Banks didn’t fog up all the lenses on set, this movie is so steamy. But with all that romance on screen, fans are now wondering if Matthew Broome is single in real life.
As more and more My Fault: London fans elevate Matthew Broome to “thirst trap status” on TikTok, he’s admitted he doesn’t really know how to react. “It’s interesting,” he said in an interview shared by AP News. “I don’t really know how to comprehend. Seeing my face on TikTok is an interesting experience.”
Even though Matthew is not really into social media, he has grown to appreciate all the online attention from fans. ““I’ve never really been a poster on social media or anything like that,” he told Women’s Wear Daily. “Then when it came out my sister was sending me TikTok edits [of me]. I’m like, ‘what the hell?’ But it was also just so nice to see that people were caring and watching it.”
It’s a good thing he’s getting more used to social media, because the TikTok girlies are out to play, and they’re going hard trying to figure out Matthew Broome’s dating history.

Since Matthew Broome doesn’t post much himself, it takes some extra deep sleuthing to learn about Matthew Broome’s dating history. On Instagram, he has a ton of posts with his My Fault: London co-star Asha Banks, but it looks like that’s all part of the promo for the movie and not from any extracurricular activities between them.
But, it’s not so off track to think Matthew Broome might date a co-star. It’s just that it might be someone from a different project. Before My Fault: London, Matthew starred in The Buccaneers on Apple TV+ (which is coming back for a season 2!) and a lot of fans think he had a thing going with his Buccaneers co-star Aubri Ibrag. They’ve never commented on the possibility of a relationship, but as of February 2025, they don’t follow each other on Instagram anymore. Anyone who’s been through a break-up knows the first thing you do is the unfollow-your-ex-tour, so it’s some good evidence that at least something went down between Matthew Broome and Aubri Ibrag.
