The pod portion of Love Is Blind always brings forth a couple of love triangles in which hopeful singles have to decide which person is a better fit for them… and decide which one seems like they’d be more attractive, just to say what isn’t being said. On the D.C.-based season 7, one of these love triangles involves Ramses Prashad and Marissa George, who decide to get engaged after Marissa chooses Ramses over Bohdan Olinares. Mind you, this is after she jokes that they should be a throuple because they all get along great — now that would be an exciting first for the show!
It seems that Marissa makes the right decision in choosing Ramses, though. The initial release of six episodes ends with Ramses and Marissa declaring themselves one of the strongest couples while giving a gossipy rundown of which ones they think will make it to the altar. They also say that they think they set a new record for being the fastest couple in the show’s history to have sex after meeting each other: day one of the Mexico trip. Not night one, day one.
But while they’re confident that marriage is at the end of the show for them, what’s going on in the real world? Are they still together?
Are Ramses And Marissa Still Together After Love Is Blind?
The preview for the rest of the season shows some potential cracks in Marissa and Ramses’ relationship. When Ramses meets her parents, he says, “I’m not here for her money” and her mom tells him, “You hurt my daughter, I will cut your balls off.” Tell him how you really feel! Later, at a cast party, Marissa meets Bohdan, and when he tells her he expected that she would be pretty, she says, “You can call me pretty” and asks him if he would have proposed to her.
But, will an intimidating mom and a flirty pod squad member be enough to keep these two apart? It’s unclear for now, and their social media doesn’t give away the ending. Scrolling through their Instagrams, they both seem single, but they also are obligated to seem single because the show hasn’t finished airing yet. If you want to really get down to the nitty gritty and read into things — because why not? — Marissa does have a pinned selfie from March with the caption, “Eternal sunshine of my spotless mind.” It’s a reference to the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which is about undergoing a procedure to erase memories of an ex. Suspish! (By the way, the season was filmed last fall.) On the other hand, Marissa also responded to someone who commented on a post about Love Is Blind in a way that seems a bit more positive. The person wrote, “So did you win?” and she replied, “you will have to watch and find out 😊” Does the blushing smiley emoji indicate her true feelings or is it a coverup? These are the types of questions we must ask!
As for Ramses’ Instagram, again, we can read into stuff with inconclusive results. On Sept. 22, he posted a summer 2024 recap and one of the slides includes a screenshot of a quote: “just so u know everything in the entire universe is always about love and when it isn’t about love it is abt the absence of love. hope this make sense.” That sounds like a breakup to me! But it could easily just be some words of wisdom. For all we know, Ramses and Marissa both read that quote together and let out a “damn, that’s deep” in unison.
We’ll have to keep watching to find out what really happens with these two and the five other couples. They definitely can’t all end up together.
