I hate to see two gorgeous, gorgeous girls beefing over a man who sucks (toes), yet here we are. After Ciara Miller’s DGAF (cough pick-me cough) approach to her bestie Jesse dating her roomie Lexi, she unsurprisingly got sucked (not unlike the toes Jesse was slobbering over for 37 MINUTES) into his hot mess. And yes, showing a little bare-bones respect for someone else’s relationship, even as an outsider, isn’t just girl code; it’s like chill, cool, and human code. Nonetheless, Lexi’s choice to go back and forth with a man who is unironically dropping sexy mixtapes has led her to have to fight for her life online and in interviews about the “toxic” situationship. So, what did Lexi say about Ciara in the press along the way? Let’s just say they’re not gonna be snuggling in bed any time soon!
Did Ciara and Jesse Skip Lexi’s Birthday Party? Lexi Calls Out The Birthday Drama
Lexi’s biggest accusation re: Ciara, post-Summer House, is that Ciara and Jesse ditched her birthday party to hang out with each other. She told Virtual Reali-Tea that she had invited everyone from the SH crew to her b-day celebration, but “a certain two people didn’t answer, and then a certain two people hung out that day instead.” When Ciara tried to deny that it happened in a suss denial that would make Bill Clinton roll his eyes (“the rumor that we like skipped somebody’s birthday party, specifically Lexi’s birthday party to hang out and… that didn’t happen”), Lexi came back on WWHL to tell the world she had the receipts!
“We talked, and [Ciara] did say they ended up getting up lunch, and Jesse posted it. And I have the screenshot of it, so I don’t know why she would say that because there’s proof, and he posted it. So take it up with him,” Lexi replied to a fan’s question about the situation. Soooo, I guess when Ciara said, “That didn’t happen,” it, in fact, did happen — she just didn’t like the perception that it was done intentionally to hurt Lexi? Yet another case of considering the optics could have saved Jesse and Ciara a lot of time.
Lexi’s Comment About “Manipulation” On Summer House
In the same podcast interview, Lexi says she felt “manipulated” by Jesse, not Ciara, though it was related to how he’d been behaving with the Bed Bug. Jesse tried to clock Lexi after a night out, as seen on the show, for “flirting” with West (according to Lexi’s confessional, she was “holding West up” because he was drunk), which Lexi later felt was “100%” manipulation when watching it back. Lexi had already “immediately friend-zoned” West due to “him being Ciara’s ex,” and Jesse knew that, but still, Jesse tried to use Lexi platonically helping out a friend as a way to excuse his excessively painful flirting with Ciara going down behind Lexi’s back.

Lexi also told the Reali-Tea Podcast that she “will always think the best of girls. And I always think girls should choose each other over boys.” At the time of the interview in April 2025, prior to the season 9 reunion, Lexi hoped there was a chance she and Ciara could still be friends.

When Andy Cohen, the cheeky lad that he is, asked Lexi if she thought Jesse and Ciara would become a couple, Lexi said, “There was chemistry” between the pair, so perhaps they would, but she wasn’t sure.

On The Viall Files, Lexi confirmed that Ciara told Lexi to stop mentioning her name, period, so Lexi planned to respect that going forward. “Honestly, you’re going to have to ask them because, I think, she’s asked me not to speak good or bad,” was her response to Nick asking about Ciara and Jesse’s relationship. Nick translated that Lexi had essentially been requested by Ciara to “keep her name out of your mouth?” and Lexi hit ’em with a cold, hard “yes.”

Lexi also told Nick Viall who she thinks is responsible for her fallout with Ciara: “I will forever blame Jesse for all of that with her and I, but I can’t comment on anything about their relationship, cause I don’t know what it is.”

Ciara told Us Weekly in February 2025 that she “still doesn’t know” why Lexi would be upset about how Jesse and Ciara got down this summer. Lol, girl… HUH??? At the time, Ciara said she was “gonna watch and figure it out with the rest of you guys because I still don’t know” since all the episodes hadn’t aired yet. But was Ciara not present when Jesse was caressing her leg, telling her they should’ve been together first, and grinding on her only on weekends when Lexi was away?! “In my head — and maybe this is just my world — I don’t really see it as a big deal,” Ciara told the outlet. Yeah, I need a full rundown of Ciara’s inner monologue when Lexi screamed across the table, “I don’t trust you,” stat, because what an extremely goofy memory.
