Jennifer Aniston has had some pretty iconic relationships. There was her marriage to Brad Pitt which famously ended around the same time he filmed Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Angelina Jolie, who he would later marry and adopt six children with. Then there was her long-term partnership with Justin Theroux, which came to a quiet and amicable end in 2018. The actress that made Rachel Green a household name has also dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer between starring in some of Hollywood’s quirkiest romcoms. While Jen has recently taken the time to call out Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance about his opinions on “childless cat ladies” that nobody asked for, she was shocked to hear the news she had been linked to someone else associated with the White House. According to completely unsubstantiated rumors, some people were under the impression she also had a romantic relationship with (drumroll please) former President Barack Obama. Here’s Jennifer Aniston’s response to the Barack Obama secret relationship rumors.
As confirmed by Jennifer Aniston herself on an October 2 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she has never dated or been in a relationship with President Barack Obama. In fact, while laughing about the “absolutely untrue” rumors, Jen explained she’s closer to his wife, Michelle Obama, if anything. She found out about the alleged false stories of a secret romance with Barack (who has been married for over 30 years to Michelle Obama, BTW) from her publicist after they were printed in a “cheesy tabloid.” Though Jennifer emphasized that “there is no truth” to the suggestion she has a personal relationship with the politician and father because she “met him once,” she did find the humor in the fact that in her decades of attention as an A-lister, this rumor is one of the nicer ones. “I’m not mad at it” she joked to Jimmy Kimmel, who also playfully confirmed she was “just friends” with Michelle, too.

In the late night television interview, Jimmy Kimmel showed Jennifer Aniston the magazine where the ridiculous claims were first printed. On the magazine cover, the tabloid alleged that a source shared “the truth about Jen and Barack” who had left Michelle Obama “betrayed.” The magazine went on to allege that Jen and Barack are “obsessed with each other.”

The Obamas have been married for 32 years. Their anniversary is on October 3. In 2023, Michelle joked that they’d been “married for 30 years and 20 of them were great” on CBS Mornings. Sorry, but they are NEVER breaking up.
