I am just a girl, standing in front of my TV screen, asking the cute redheaded guy on Saturday Night Live to love me. And apparently, many other girls are having that same experience, because my TikTok FYP is flooded with Ben Marshall edits right now.
The 30-year-old comedian is definitely having a moment after making his solo debut on SNL. (He previously appeared on the show with his Please Don’t Destroy buddies, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy.) Even though Ben isn’t new to the cast, people are just now realizing that he’s hot. I’m not sure what took everyone so long to reach that obvious conclusion…

If you’re feeling a little delulu and wondering if you have a shot with the comedian, here’s what to know about Ben’s relationship status.
So, I’ve scoured the internet for any trace of a hint about Ben’s relationship status, and I’ve come up with: absolutely nothing. Unlike Pete Davidson when he was on SNL, no one is tracking this man’s dating life (most likely because he’s not dating Ariana Grande or another A+++-lister).
Since I don’t see any interview quotes about a relationship or any signs of a partner on Ben’s Instagram, it’s definitely possible that he’s single. Ignorance is bliss, they say.

Back in 2021, Ben made a very unserious video about what it would be like to date him. “You wake up in the morning, the house is spotless, I’ve done your taxes for you, and I bring you a big margherita pizza in bed,” he promised. The SNL star will even let you pick the movie — as long as it’s a PG-13 comedy starring Justin Long.
Since Ben’s a close, personal friend of Taylor Swift (they did that three sad virgins sketch a few years ago), I’m sure he appreciates this charming edit to “Wood.”
