Well, because an old behind-the-scenes OBX season 1 photo went viral, and they say a picture’s worth a thousand words. In the group pic, Elaine is next to Rudy and has her arm on his shoulder, and Teo isn’t even in the same row. As we know, Rudy and Elaine went public with their relationship in November 2020 (not too long after he supposedly dated Teo). Now, I’d hardly call this photo evidence of cheating, but it was more than enough to fuel the rumor mill.
After fans begged Teo to spill the tea, they posted a November 16 TikTok with the audio, “I’m not just a bitch, I’m a bitch with a back story” and wrote in their caption, “watching everyone guess what happened based off one photo from 6 years ago.” But their response didn’t stop there.

As far as I can tell, this is purely a creative fan theory. Some dedicated members of the fandom think that Rudy told Madison he had feelings for her while he was still dating Teo, Madison rejected him, and that’s why they have this whole weird feud.
