Demi Lovato Got Married! And There's A Disney Channel Detail In Her Dress

Demi Lovato is officially married! The singer, former Disney Channel star, and Poot alter-ego celebrated her marriage to singer Jordan “Jutes” Lutes on Sunday, May 25, 2025, and they honestly couldn’t look happier. Let’s be real: Demi has not always had an easy go of it, so it’s truly heartwarming to see her find her version of a happily ever after with Jutes. Plus, the fact that she looked good while doing it is just icing on the wedding cake.

Speaking of looking good, Demi wore a pearl white Vivienne Westwood wedding gown for the intimate Santa Barbara, CA ceremony. “When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted], I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs—specifically how the silhouettes really compliment the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,” she told Vogue.

Some hyper-vigilant fans notice that Demi’s wedding dress might have a major Disney Channel connection: It looks very similar to the dress fellow Disney alum Miley Cyrus wore to her 2018 wedding to Liam Hemsworth. Both dresses were made by Vivienne Westwood, and they feature similar off-the-shoulder necklines. But each dress was made custom for each of the stars, and although the silhouettes are similar, they’re actually different. Still, it’s very sweet that the looks were similar, and Demi shares this little bit of her wedding with a fellow Disney Channel star.

Demi and Jutes went public with their relationship in August 2022 after they worked together on Demi’s “Holy Fvck.” Then, Jutes popped the big question to Demi in a “personal and intimate” proposal in December 2023.

When she announced their engagement on Instagram, Demi wrote, “I’m still speechless 🥹🥹 last night was the best night of my life, and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life. My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true, and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you, baby.”

An anonymous source told PEOPLE that Demi has “never been happier” after marrying Jordan, and another source said Demi was “mostly smiling” throughout the ceremony, but “there were a few emotional moments that clearly moved her.” Ah, the healing power of true love!
