Knicks In 6! Here's A List Of Celeb Fans That Didn't Just Jump On The Bandwagon

There’s some big stuff happening with the New York Knicks right now. I guess they’re doing well, and that’s not usually the case, and so now fans are really excited about it. Especially celebrity fans. Let’s be real, scoping out who’s sitting courtside has always been my number one priority when it comes to basketball games. And all the celebrity fans have been coming out of the woodwork lately to cheer on the Knicks.

Now, there have been famous fans of the Knicks for as long as the team’s been around. And with those famous fans, come iconic moments, like the time Ethan Hawke tried flirting with Rihanna in the middle of a game (never forget). But there’s something special in the air with this 2025 season, as the Knicks go for it in the playoffs and their celeb fans cheer them on. Like, where else could we see Kylie Jenner look oh-so-lovingly at her boyf Timothée Chalamet? Only at a Knicks game, IMO, because where else would a superfan like Timmy be so overjoyed? But Timmy and Kylie aren’t the only celebs frequenting Celeb Row at Madison Square Garden. Here are all the big celebrity fans of the Knicks.

Celebrity Fans Of The Knicks

A native New Yorker, Timmy has been a Knicks fan all his life, and he has the photos of him as a kid fanboying over Amar’e Stoudemire to prove it. And while Timmy is a fan of Knicks, Kylie seems to simply be a fan of watching Timmy cheer on the Knicks:

There is probably no bigger fan of the Knicks than director Spike Lee. Not just celebrity fan, but fan period. The man has had season tickets since 1985 and practically lives at MSG. And I don’t think there’s anything more joyful than this picture of Timmy and Spike being superfans together:

Cardi and Mary cheered on the Knicks together at the game on May 12. Cardi also hard launched her new relationship with NFL player Stefon Diggs at this same Knicks game:

Bad Bunny is a longtime fan of the Knicks, and he wound up at the same game as his ex Kendall Jenner on May 12. Oops, hope that didn’t sour the game for him too much.

Emma Stone and Michael B. Jordan

Back in 2023, Emma Stone and Michael B. Jordan enjoyed a Knicks game together, along with Emma’s hubby Dave McCary.

Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller is a mainstay at Knicks games and he’s been super present throughout this whole playoff run. Even his Twitter (excuse me, X) profile picture is of the Knick’s logo.

Chris Rock

Another big star who’s often courtside is Chris Rock. He’s such a big fan, he was even featured in some Knicks promo material.

Iggy Azaela, Trevor Noah, and Jordan Taylor Braff

Trevor Noah and his then girlfriend Jordan Taylor hit up a Knicks game alongside Iggy Azaela back in 2018.

Alicia Keys

Alicia’s another star with deep New York roots, and so of course she’s a big Knicks fan, too.

Meryl Streep and 50 Cent

Meryl Streep and 50 Cent look like they’re having the time of their life at this Knicks game together in 2015, and mentally, I’m sitting courtside with them.
