Following the explosive “receipts, proof, timeline, screenshots!” drama of season 4, the ladies of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are back for another round of “ruuuumors and nastiness.” Of course, they’re not all back. Monica “Reality Von Tease” Garcia is out for obvious reasons, but she has a replacement. Well, a replacement in that there’s a new Housewife. Not a replacement in that someone else is secretly running an Instagram account gossiping about her castmates. The new RHOSLC Housewife is Bronwyn Newport, a friend of Lisa Barlow.

As soon as the trailer for RHOSLC season 5 was released, one thing was clear about Bronwyn: She’s into fashion. While Lisa has been the one who talks about not dressing up for theme events because she only wears designer, and we’ve seen Mary Cosby in her home that seems to be half closet/half discarded props from live action Disney movies, the evidence is there that Bronwyn is going to take things to another level with the fashion. From her debut in the trailer in a yellow leopard bra and underwear set with matching puffer jacket to documenting her experience at couture shows on Instagram, she means business.

But what else is there to know about Bronwyn besides that she is willing (and rich enough) to wear a $15K Saint Laurent heart-shaped fur coat? Keep reading to learn more about the newest Salt Lake City Housewife, Bronwyn Newport.

Who Is Bronwyn Newport?

Bronwyn’s Bravo bio describes her as a “Broadway producer and fashion influencer,” a “dedicated liberal political activist,” and “deeply engaged in philanthropy.” Bronwyn’s website and social media are now under her own name, but she used to have a blog and Instagram handle called Pret a Newporter (Get it? Like Prêt-à-Porter, but with her last name mixed in?) As for her connection to Broadway, she was recently linked to a reading of an autobiographical musical by actor and trans activist Alexandra Billings. As Bravo notes, she also used to work in finance.

What else is there to know? Well, according to her own Instagram bio, she’s a “Mom, doggie mom, lover of fashion, pandas, drag, Dr. Pepper and the NBA. Champion for inclusion and acceptance for all. Aspiring surfer.”

Who Is Bronwyn Newport’s Husband?

Bronwyn is married to Todd Bradly, who Bravo explains is 26 years older than she is. (Bronwyn is 39.) The couple have been married for eight years.

Todd was previously an executive at HP and Mozido. In 2020, he was named an operating partner at One Equity Partners. So… rich people business stuff.

Does Bronwyn Newport Have Kids?

In addition to the two adult stepchildren, Bronwyn has an 18-year-old daughter named Gwen, who she welcomed prior to her relationship with Todd.

What Is Bronwyn’s Connection To The RHOSLC Group?

New Housewives are always introduced as a friend of one (or more) of the current cast members… even if they immediately end up turning on them and it becomes clear that they were never that close. Bronwyn is welcomed into the RHOSLC clique through Lisa. We shall see how deep their connection really is!

Is Bronwyn Newport A Mormon?

Mormonism comes up a lot on RHOSLC. Whitney and Heather Gay have both distanced themselves from the religion, while Lisa is still practicing. As for Bronwyn, she was raised Mormon, but has also distanced herself from the church.

In a 2018 Instagram post, Bronwyn wrote, “I grew up Mormon and am so blessed to have learned (and try to still live) so many wonderful teachings and qualities the religion espouses. Unfortunately, I have also felt the sting of exclusion, judgement [sic] and loneliness as I didn’t always understand, embody or choose/fit into every guideline.”

Where Can I Follow Bronwyn?
