Stassi's 'Vanderpump Villa' Meltdown About Beau's Sister Has Me Asking So Many Questions

I think I found a recession indicator I can get behind! Stassi Schroeder ripping someone a new one on reality TV over a Lisa Vanderpump tablescape feels like 2014 in the best way possible. After addressing the whole “I got banished for some major mistakes” elephant in the room, Stassi has settled into season 2 of LVP’s Vanderpump Villa quite nicely, and it only took SEVEN episodes to see just a glimpse of the birthday GOAT doing what she once did best: making “its my party and I’ll rage if I want to” a lifestyle. This year’s “birthday meltdown” was triggered by an eyebrow-raising revelation: Beau, her husband, has a matching tattoo with his Italian half-sister, Georgia. And, not just any tattoo, but matching tats of each other’s names. Naturally, this led me down a rabbit hole about Beau’s sister, Georgia, to find out why Beau met her later in life.

Why did Beau meet his sister later in life?

According to a podcast episode of Straight Up With Stassi (now titled Stassi), Beau explains that his biological father was an Italian native who moved back to Italy when Beau was young. Later in life, Beau reconnected with his dad and met some of his half-siblings, including Georgia, who appears on Vanderpump Villa.

Georgia is single, smart, “really sassy,” and “really Italian,” according to Stassi. Stassi also explains that “Beau met his sister later in life,” so he might feel like he needs to “make up for lost time.”

When Georgia greets Stassi and the fam, she hugs Stassi first. So when Beau eventually wraps his sis in a bear hug, he says, “You should’ve come to me first!” which is a lot of excitement about a hug, but okay. Stassi has clearly seen this super-tight sibling behavior before, and “[tries to] pretend like it’s not weird, but it’s fucking weird.” Stassi (and her besties there for bday visit) half-jokingly rib on how, erm, close Beau and Georgia are. Her pal Taylor Strecker even brings up that one SVU episode.

Before the weekend starts, Stassi tells the cameras she needs her husband to “have her back” and make her feel like #1, because it’s her fucking birthday, duh. But during Stassi’s birthday dinner, Beau starts telling a story about his first visit to Italy with Stassi. This leads to the revelation that Beau and Georgia ran off to get each other’s signatures inked in big letters on each other’s arms.

Since then, Beau has changed his dragon belly tat (lol) to have blue eyes, as an homage to Stassi. But at the table, Stassi still asks Beau, “What about my signature?” This is where Beau makes a critical mistake: He tells Stassi that Jax already has Stassi’s signature tatted, so he doesn’t want to copy him.

“Beau has a habit of putting his sister Georgia’s needs before anyone else’s, including his wife’s,” Stassi explains in her confessional. So when Beau says no, in front of everyone, Stassi’s dark passenger is (somewhat) resurrected, and she goes in on Beau throughout the night. To be fair, Beau had a real excuse, too (the superstition about tatting your spouse’s name being bad luck), but his unwillingness to do for Stassi what he did for his sister, “hurt [Stassi’s] feelings” and made her feel “really embarrassed.”

Since the Italian spat, which wasn’t actually about a tattoo, Stassi has shared that the argument led to her being “forced” to go to therapy.
