If it’s lonely (or shabby) at the top, nobody told #1-ranked women’s tennis star, Aryna Sabalenka. Aryna has spent the summer dancing to Coldplay with her girlfriends, giggling with her team while vlogging (“They all know my fun, playful side,” Aryna told me) and soaking up the Greek sun with her boyfriend Georgios — that is, between making the finals of several major tennis tournaments around the world, the last of which she won in May, upping her singles championship trophy count to 20. Three of said titles are Grand Slams, NBD.
But Aryna’s fans aren’t left craving her competitive edge when the Belarusian superstar steps off the court. On her social media (with over four million followers across Instagram and TikTok alone), she often shows off a clean yet ornate personal style (“Jewelry is really one of my biggest guilty pleasures,” Aryna explained).
And you’d be hard-pressed to find a comment section where The Tiger’s fans aren’t begging to know more about what Aryna is wearing: from the perfect shade of green earrings to match her manicure (and her eyes) to breezy vacation fits cool enough for Grecian islands. With the US Open only a few sleeps away, I spoke to Aryna Sabalenka about her signature fashion aesthetic, style role models, and how the hell she keeps her slick bun fault-free on the court.

Aryna Sabalenka Fashion Inspo & Style Tips

Betches: How does your role as a pro athlete influence your personal style off the court?
Aryna: My style off the court is all about strength and confidence. While you can often find me wearing Nike and more sporty, comfortable looks, I also love dressing up and showing my bold, feminine side. It’s all about balancing power and comfort with a touch of glam.
Do you find yourself taking inspiration from tennis fashion, or do you lean away from that in your personal style?
Sometimes! I definitely love that aesthetic, but for the most part, I leave it for my on-court fashion. Off the court, I like to be a bit more edgy and modern. I love getting creative with fashion and expressing different sides of myself.
How does staying hydrated influence your beauty routine — and your game?
Hydration is my non-negotiable. You can throw on all the skincare you want, but if you’re not hydrated from the inside out, nothing really sticks. For me, happy, healthy, hydrated skin is the foundation of my beauty routine.
On the court, I’m kind of obsessed with the science behind hydration — it’s honestly my secret weapon. I think that’s why I fell in love with Electrolit so early on; they start with a scientific formulation. Between training, travel, and those long, hot days, plain water just doesn’t cut it (even though I drink plenty of that, too!). I rely on electrolytes to keep me powered, prevent cramps, and stay sharp every step of the way.
Yes, Electrolit is your new hydration sponsor! Which of the flavors do you reach for the most?
This one’s tough. Electrolit has been a part of my routine long before this partnership, so I’ve had the chance to try all the flavors. But if I had to pick a favorite… I’d say Fruit Punch. That one hits different. The powder packs are a lifesaver for when I’m on the go, honestly, I’m sipping it all day, every day.

Deion Sanders said, “Look good, feel good, play good.” Is your game at all influenced by what you’re wearing?
Absolutely. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to work with Nike and create on-court looks that are both innovative and practical. Having an outfit I feel comfortable and confident in makes a huge difference. It helps me move freely, stay focused, and feel strong. I also like playing with different colors and styles for my Whoop bands to still track my progress, but add some style.
You’ve been spotted sporting some stunning Cartier and Audemars Piguet pieces on game day. Are there any good luck charms or beauty routines that have become a part of your game day ritual?
I really love to switch up my jewelry. I usually design something custom for each Slam so that it matches my outfit and makes me feel put together when I’m on court. This year, I worked with Material Good to design two necklaces and some earrings, which I’m really excited about.
My AP watches are really special to me, too, and I like to match them back to my outfits. I’ve loved Cartier for so long, so I’m always mixing in their pieces with everything else. Jewelry is really one of my biggest guilty pleasures.

You rock TF out of a middle part, slick back bun on the court. What’s your key to the perfect bun that stays in place throughout heated matches?
I don’t use any special products; I just get it in a tight ponytail and then twist around and around and secure the bun with the elastic. Some bobby pins on each side help the flyaways stay out of my face while I’m playing. It all usually stays pretty secure!
I am living vicariously through your vacation content!
I am having so much fun with my content. I actually just started a weekly YouTube series called Aryna’s Arena, where I get to show my playful side, either in prep for tournaments with my team or away with Georgios.
What’s your must-pack fashion item for every vacation?
It would have to be an accessory. A great pair of sunglasses instantly elevates any look and is perfect for when I just want to relax and feel stylish without trying too hard. Plus, they’re a must for those sunny beach days or exploring new cities. I also always bring my Whoop band to track my health, even when I am not playing.
