After a bunch of aggressively mid men fumbled the people’s princess, Amaya Papaya, she finally found her prince in Casa Boy Bryan, and they went on to become our Love Island USA season 7 champions. Although their romance was still pretty new at the end of the season, they did agree to be exclusive while on the show. It was the love story we so desperately needed this season… but I’m not sure there’s a happy ending.
A week after the finale, a woman on TikTok claimed that she saw Bryan cheating on Amaya with a girl at a club in Los Angeles. (The accusation video has since been deleted.) The Love Island USA star seemingly responded to her in a playful TikTok video with Amaya, and during the August 25 reunion, he formally addressed the allegations. The day of the reunion, fans discovered a shocking update: Bryan and Amaya have unfollowed each other on IG.
So, did Bryan actually cheat on Amaya? Let’s break down the rumors and the response he gave during the reunion.
Reunion host Andy Cohen asked Bryan about the cheating rumors right at the beginning of the episode. “Bryan there was a video that sparked a lot of rumors about you cheating, partying with other girls,” he pointed out.
In response, Bryan accused people online of “trying to just throw any hate [his] way.” The Love Island star explained that he got paid to host a party and got a little carried away that night. He said he had a “lapse in judgment” and noted that he and Amaya had worked through it already.

But the “lapse in judgement” he was talking about wasn’t cheating. It was “pouring shots around, giving the crowd shots, stuff like that.”
Amaya emphasized, “I’m not a woman that would be with someone who doesn’t respect me.” Although these two seemed happy together in the reunion, the IG unfollowing suggests something’s gone down since then…
Shortly after the season 7 finale aired, a TikToker named Morgan accused Bryan of cheating. In a now-deleted video, she claimed to have seen him at a club in Los Angeles with another woman. According to Morgan, they were all staying at the same Airbnb, and she witnessed Bryan bring this woman back to his private room while Amaya was staying in the Airbnb as well.

Although Bryan didn’t explicitly respond to her accusations, he seemingly addressed him in a TikTok video of Amaya jumping into his arms and smiling. “When everyone thinks you’re over meanwhile this is us,” he wrote, tagging Amaya.
On August 25, fans realized that Bryan and Amaya have unfollowed each other on Instagram. And Amaya seemingly hinted at a split in some heartbreak-related TikTok reposts. One was captioned, “how it feels when you know you have to leave him alone,” and another read, “when I finally pick myself back up and never let my walls down like that again.”
Amaya and Bryan haven’t shared any official breakups statements as of now.
