Nicolandria Nation, I hope you got some quality rest during these post-finale weeks. It was a long season of crafting gorgeous TikTok edits, manifesting this relationship with everything we have, and going through the emotional whiplash of Nic and Olandria’s wild Love Island USA journey.
These two had crazy chemistry from the start. They kept choosing each other in challenges, and Nic was always gazing at Olandria with googly eyes. But unfortunately, since Nic was coupled up with Cierra and Olandria was coupled up with Taylor, it took them almost the whole season to really commit to exploring each other. Of course, their other connections didn’t work out, so they did get the chance to couple up and eventually became the runners-up of season 7!
During the finale, Nic and Olandria prepared adorable speeches for each other that had me sobbing. “As we turn the page and step into the real world, I’m excited to keep learning about you, sharing laughs, creating memories, and seeing where the connection takes us,” Olandria told Nic. “Here’s to something new, real, and hopefully everlasting.” Nic admitted he’s always been her “secret admirer.”
But are Nic and Olandria still together after Love Island? During the August 25 reunion, they shared an update on their relationship status!
When asked about their current relationship status during the reunion, Nic shared, “There’s been a lot of pressure up to this moment. I know people are expecting us to have a label by now.” (They still don’t have one.) He and Olandria are continuing to explore their connection for now, but it sounds promising.

“We’ve always been believers in taking our time with things and not trying to let outside pressure dictate our relationship,” Nic said. “We’re going on trips together. We have future dates planned.” Yay!
When Olandria was asked if ~the journey~ was worth the wait, Nic grinned and joked, “They call me Big Belgian for a reason.” Everyone cringed and giggled. Olandria blushed and confirmed, “It was worth the wait.”
When Olandria appeared on Keke Palmer’s podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer on July 22, she explained, “The conversation is still the same. We wanna continue to go at the pace we’re going.” She added, “We had a conversation yesterday. I was like, ‘Bro I’m feeling a lot of pressure from the media. Ya know what I mean?’ He was like, ‘I think we should continue to go at the pace we’re going. It’s no reason for us to jump ship.'” Looove that answer, Nic.
“We still like each other,” Olandria emphasized. “Our connection is very much genuine even if people are questioning it… We’re gonna continue to go at our own pace and enjoy each other’s company.”

In a July 20 Love Island Instagram photo dump, Olandria reflected on her time on the show and shared very interesting insights about her relationship with Nic. “I walked out of the villa with an unexpected but extraordinary connection that I hope lasts for all eternity,” she wrote in her caption. “All eternity” sounds pretty damn serious to me!!
Nic explained during the reunion that he hasn’t seen or talked to Cierra and doesn’t plan on it, “She started making these videos,” he said, referencing Cierra’s Greece TikTok video accusing him of “never actually liking [her].” He added, “I feel like she was low-key prioritizing attention through those videos rather than wanting to fix anything.” (Cierra did not attend the reunion.)
