Don’t worry if there’s a Vanderpump Rules-shaped hole left in your heart with the news the OG franchise is getting a total reboot because you’re not alone. Luckily (or perhaps fatefully might be more appropriate), some of the show’s most charming stars have taken their talents to other platforms.

This includes Ally Lewber, the unique surver-singer-astrologist triple threat and breath of fresh air, who waltzed into West Hollywood during season 10. Ally was once dating the show’s resident DJ, James Kennedy, but she has now refocused her energies on a brand new podcast, StarStruck, where she speaks to and reads the charts of celebrity guests to assist with their love lives astrologically. In her own words, Ally guides listeners through a “celestial journey” of celeb “secrets, scandals, and successes.”

So naturally, when I had the pleasure of speaking to Ally about her new stellar endeavor, I had to get the inside scoop on some famous star-crossed lovers. That and Ally’s latest relationship status.

Ally Lewber On Astrological Compatibility In Relationships

Betches: How big of a role does astrology play in romance, and specifically, which houses, planets, or angles do you think are most important when quickly checking someone’s chart for compatibility?

Ally Lewber: I don’t know if this is a hot take, but I love using astrology so much as more of a self-help tool. It’s not that I don’t believe in compatibility, obviously. I believe, though, that we are all connected and that we all show up in each other’s lives in different ways. So I like using astrology more as a tool versus like, “Oh, my God, we are not compatible at all. I could never date a Gemini.”

I totally agree with you.

People are more complex and deep than that. You meet someone, catch their vibe, then if it goes well, and we’re really into them, then we can look at astrology. I love looking at composite charts because I like to see what our energy together brings.

Just looking at the moon sign to see, “Okay, where would you fit my life emotionally? Will you make me feel safe?” So, moon sign compatibility is really important. And Venus, because Venus is obviously all of the things. Are we attracted to the person? How are we going to spoil each other? What’s the love language? So I like to look at Venus for just the attraction part, but the moon for the deeper soul connection.

Amazing. I use Co-Star after dates sometimes because it’s just like “I need to know.”

It’s good to know. It saves time. We all know what we like. Oh, and then for houses, the seventh and fourth. The seventh house represents literal marriage and relationships. So when that’s activated, it’s totally like, “Okay, we found our cosmic plus one. We are balanced, our souls are balanced already.” And then if someone activates the fourth house, that’s the house of the home and family. So that’s where we can see someone where we’re like, “Okay, I could see myself building a life with you, starting a foundation with you,” that type of vibe.

I’m curious if there are any two sun pairings that you often see working out romantically, and if there are any two that you’re like, “Oh, these two kind of always clash.”

I’m a Capricorn, so this is a personal experience, and this isn’t actually romance, but friendship-wise, I love a Scorpio-Capricorn pair. Their energy, I don’t know… I meet someone, and if I instantly vibe with you, chances are they’re a Scorpio or a Capricorn, or a Libra.

Ally Lewber On Celebrity Couples’ Compatibility 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle’s a Leo and Prince Harry is a Virgo. The thing is, I think why they work is because Meghan Markle is a Virgo Moon, and she has her Venus in Virgo. So I think textbook Leo-Virgo, not usually the best pairing, just because I think the Leo just wants to be carefree but fun, where the Virgo is a little bit too analytical.

But because she has so much Virgo in her chart, I think it’s a nice balance, and she feels safe with him. He’s literally activating all of her Venetian qualities. When you look at her chart fully, he sees her, he values her. I think he really deeply respects her. Also, I believe that he is a Capricorn rising, which means she’s activating his eighth house, which kind of is interesting too, because the eighth house, it’s intense, and that’s the house where we do see sex and intense karmic relationships.

Kristen Doute and Tom Sandoval

She’s an Aquarius. He’s a Cancer. It’s one of those things where [it could work] if both of these signs are not evolved, which I don’t think either party was evolved at the time of their relationship, so we’re getting the detached Aquarius that wants to feel independent and free. And then we’re seeing the Sandoval Cancer, which is really private and sensitive, and emotional.

I don’t think that either party felt [understood], and again, this is just from the astrology; I don’t know their relationship. I think Aquarius is just so intellectual and smart and needs to feel like they’re growing towards something, where I think the Cancer energy can get a little stuck in the emotions. Overall, no, not great compatibility.

Sydney Sweeney and Glenn Powell*

*They’re not a couple (to our knowledge), but a lot of people are excited about maybe that changing.

I love them. In our heads, they’re fully married. Okay. I have Sydney’s [chart]. She’s a Virgo Sun, Cap Moon, Scorpio rising. So we do know [Glenn] is a Pisces Moon, gosh, he’s such a lover. And a Libra Sun. Libras are literally the sign of love and relationships, and romance, and they just want everyone to get along. He’s so diplomatic. He’s so easy to like.

And then Sydney’s a Virgo. I think he really respects her work ethic. I feel like their relationship would be like he’s kind of the puppy dog, and she’s the one that’s the hard worker, but he’s into it. I think that she probably doesn’t take him too seriously, but she thinks he’s cute and flirty. Virgos and Libras are both very feminine signs. So I do feel like they probably have that kind of chemistry that’s just really romantic and soft and easy to get along.

We all just want a man to respect us, right? Respect our work ethic, and just, “You just go be cute.”

Zendaya and Tom Holland

So she’s a Virgo and he’s a Gemini. Those are the two signs that are ruled by Mercury. So I bet their communication is freaking awesome. If they’re great at anything, it’s communicating. I think too, just them both being storytellers and respecting the art and the work that they do [helps]. I like a Gemini-Virgo pairing. I bet they just have some really cool table talk. Dinner for them is going deep, intellectual conversations.

And he’s just charming. Geminis are charming. That’s usually what gets Gemini men in trouble, if we’re being honest, is that the women can’t really trust them because people are just so drawn and attracted to them. He’s also so smart, and he was an actor when he was young, so I feel like he’s just done so much maturing and growth, where he’s not your regular, typical Gemini. I love him.
