The Unwell media empire is just growing and growing. Alex Cooper has basically conquered the podcast world with her show Call Her Daddy and the whole Unwell Network lineup of shows. And I mean, does it get any bigger than interviewing the Vice Prez? I don’t think so. So it’s only natural that now Alex is making her way to to staking her claim in the TV world, too. On March 12, she announced that her company Unwell Productions has partnered up with Hulu for a new dating reality show called Overboard With Love.
“I couldn’t be more excited that Unwell Productions’ first unscripted series, Overboard for Love, is coming to life with our amazing partner, Hulu,” Alex said in a statement. “This project marks a major milestone for us, perfectly reflecting our vision of creating bold, unfiltered content that pushes boundaries. We’ve designed a truly unique dating show, and I can’t wait for viewers to see what Unwell is capable of.”
Alex will be an executive producer on the new dating series, alongside her husband, producer Matt Kaplan. They’ve also got producers Mina Lefevre, Russell Jay-Staglik, and Jason Ehrlich behind the show, and Jason previously produced The Bachelor, so you know this is gonna be a top tier dating show.
Here’s everything to know about Alex Cooper’s Hulu series Overboard With Love.
Like the name suggests, Overboard With Love is a dating show set at sea. On the show, “sexy singles are ready to mix and mingle” aboard “the ultimate luxury yacht.” But it’s not simply Below Deck meets The Bachelor. There’s a twist, according to the series’ official logline:

“Gaining access to the yacht’s extravagant amenities won’t be so simple. As the journey unfolds, romance ignites; alliances form; and hearts are shattered. In the end, only one couple will reign supreme. Who will rise to the top, and who will be left stranded?”
So it sounds like it’s actually going to be Below Deck meets The Bachelor meets The Amazing Race? I’m on board for this one.
There’s no premiere date yet for Overboard With Love, but hopefully fans will get to see it soon.
The cast for Overboard With Love hasn’t been announced yet. Right now Alex has only talked about producing the show, but perhaps she’ll take on hosting duties as well. Until we find out more, anchors away.
