I’m still trying to process the fact that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have split. Like what do you mean? The country star and the actress always seemed so rock solid, gushing about each other in interviews, supporting each other at award shows, and just exuding couple goals energy.
But it’s official: these two are going their separate ways after 19 years of marriage. According to TMZ, Keith initiated the separation back in June, while Nicole still hoped to save the marriage and keep the family together. (They share two daughters, Sunday and Faith.) But on September 30, the Babygirl star filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as reason for the split.
And as more details start to surface, it’s sounding messy. There’s a particularly jarring report that Keith has already moved on with a new woman. Is that actually true? TMZ reports that Keith is “already involved with a new woman,” or at least, that’s what sources close to both him and Nicole, as well as members of the Nashville community, reportedly believe. Multiple insiders connected to Nicole say “all the signs point to” Keith having moved on.

One source put it this way: “Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.” Another added that word of Keith’s new romance is “all over Nashville.” Yikes.
So far, the identity of Keith’s alleged new girlfriend hasn’t been revealed, and neither Keith nor Nicole have publicly commented on the report. A Nashville music industry source told the Daily Mail, “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business. It’s all anyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.” But for now, this is just a rumor. We’ll have to wait for Keith and Nicole’s statements.
Insiders emphasized to People that their split is “turning dramatic.” One source shared, “Nicole’s hurt and feels betrayed. She wanted to save their marriage and believed that she could, but it seems he’s already moved on.” Keith’s reportedly rented his own place in Nashville following the split.
According to People, Keith and Nicole have organized a parenting plan where their daughters spend 306 days per year with Nicole and 59 days with Keith. Both have agreed not to speak negatively about each other and to encourage their children to maintain loving relationships with both parents.
