She confirmed the upsetting news to The Hollywood Reporter, sharing, “I lost my home in Altadena, but I am safe with friends.” She also reflected on the devastating loss in a note on Twitter. “I have been in a fog of confusion, I have been scared about what to do next, and I have been exhausted from not sleeping well, all between shedding tears,” Simone shared. “Each passing day I get a bit stronger and I’m confident I will move on from this stronger, thanks to friends.”
