There’s a two-year time jump in book three. Belly’s in college, and she’s still happily dating Jeremiah after choosing him over his brother. But as she’s getting ready to head back to Cousins Beach, she finds out that Jeremiah cheated on her with some girl named Lacie. In an attempt to prove he’s committed to Belly, Jeremiah proposes to her, and she says yes for some reason.

Naturally, Conrad then re-enters her life, and they grow closer again. Belly finds herself torn between the brothers for roughly the millionth time. After Conrad and Jeremiah fight about his cheating, Jeremiah asks Belly if she still loves Conrad, and she admits she does. They call off the wedding.

Who Does Belly End Up With In The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3?

Yes, she ends up with Conrad in the books, but Jenny warned us that the last season might be a little different from We’ll Always Have Summer. “There are going to be surprises,” she teased to EW about season 3. “There are the things that [the fans] know and then there are things they think they know, and then there’s going to be, hopefully, things that surprise them.” TBH, I seriously doubt she’d change who Belly ends up with, but ya never know. Since the first episode of this show, it’s been obvious to me that Belly and Conrad are soulmates.
