During the brutal After the Final Rose, Jenn began to sob before they showed the proposal. “We had left Hawaii engaged, very very happy,” she recalled. “It was the happiest day of my life. As soon as we had left Hawaii, things were just different.”

Jenn explained that Devin was “pulling away” and not following through on “promises he had made to me of wanting to move somewhere together and have this future planned out.” He apparently stopped texting and calling her, leaving her upset and confused. Ultimately, Devin ended the engagement over the phone. So classy!

“He had basically said that he didn’t love me anymore and didn’t feel the same way and felt like something had been off,” Jenn said at the finale. “He regretted getting engaged and I didn’t know.”

Devin admitted that he “failed” Jen, but really didn’t elaborate much… or seem that devastated. “There’s nothing I can say other than that,” he said. “But everything I felt for you was real.” Oh, I’m sure it was.

After Devin called Jenn to break off the engagement, there was an alarming new development. “The next day I wake up to you following girls on Instagram,” Jenn said to Devin during After the Final Rose. “Not just any girl, but Maria!” Yes, Maria as in Maria Georgas from the last season of The Bachelor, and the Maria who most people (including Devin, obviously) thought would be this season’s bachelorette.

“Not only is that so disrespectful to everything that we had shared together — I just don’t understand it,” Jenn continued. “Why you would do something like that. It completely invalidated our entire relationship… Did that even mean anything to you?” I fear I can answer that question pretty easily.

Devin replied with an extraordinarily unconvincing “Yeah, absolutely,” and began to say that his feelings are “hard to put into words” before Jenn cut him off… thank god. “It was so hard that you followed Maria on Instagram,” she interjected. “So hard! You were going through such a tough time!” Ended him right then and there.

Jenn also pointed out that it didn’t seem like Devin was so upset when he was hitting the clubs with Jeremy, another contestant this season. I truly hope this man never recovers from the embarrassment. Meanwhile, Jenn is gonna be thriving on Dancing With the Stars.
