While Selena has not confirmed getting any cosmetic dental work on her teeth, many fans and experts online believe she did after assessing before and after photos of her smile. Dentist and social media creator Dr. Jordan Davis said in one of his recent “Celeb Smiles” videos that he’s “pretty sure [Selena] had veneers done,” though you can never be 100% certain based on photos alone.
He alleges this may be the case because her teeth are much whiter and straighter than before, and all of her four front teeth “are the same length,” which “typically in a youthful smile” isn’t natural or ideal. He also noted her teeth were “all one flat white color” with no levels of “translucency,” which in his professional experience is “definitely not what natural teeth do.”
Taking a peek at old pictures of Selena, her smile does look different, but that doesn’t mean other procedures like braces or whitening couldn’t be the culprit. If Selena did get an elevated smile, she certainly wouldn’t be the first in Hollywood, right?
