Excellent news: I think Pedro Pascal in a sleeveless black muscle tee just solved all my problems. Our king showed up to Cannes 2025 looking gorgeous as always in an all-black fit, managing to follow the no-nudity rule while still showing off his ripped physique. The Last of Us icon paired his tee with black trousers and studded dress shoes, but according to the internet (and me), his biceps are the real stars of the fit. Naturally, Pedro struck some playful poses on the Cannes red carpet, blowing kisses, sticking out his tongue, and throwing up a peace sign for his adoring fans.
Why was he at Cannes, you ask? Pedro attended the festival to show off his body promote his new political satire movie, Eddington, which was directed by Ari Aster and also features Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, and Austin Butler. Talk about a stacked cast! Pedro stars in the film as Ted Garcia, a New Mexico mayor running for re-election in the Covid pandemic era. Unfortunately, us civilians have to wait two more months to see this movie: Eddington is coming to theaters on July 18. Needless to say, I have my plans for that night.
During a press conference at the festival, the cast and director were asked if they had concerns about releasing this film in the current hellish political climate. Unsurprisingly, Pedro doesn’t seem too worried about it. “Fuck the people that try to make you scared,” the actor replied. “And fight back. And don’t let them win.” He encouraged creatives to “keep telling the stories, keep expressing yourself and keep fighting for it.” It’s confirmed… No man has ever been hotter.
