Unfortunately, I did put myself through Liam’s unhinged appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive, back in June 2022. I’m sure you also remember him accusing an unidentified 1D member of throwing him up against a wall… what a time. Two years later, Maya’s spilling that tea, thank heavens. A few months ago in May 2024, Maya revealed to People that one of her exes pressured her into having an abortion. “If it were up to me, I wouldn’t have done it,” she shared. “But then also, if I were to have made a different decision, then I would’ve lost the person that I loved.”
Maya notably released a novel, Looking Forward, that follows a model’s complicated romance with a British pop star. In the book, the main character, Mallory, discovers that she’s pregnant, but ultimately decides to get an abortion because her boyfriend threatens to leave her if she keeps the baby. She suffers complications from the procedure and has to go to the hospital. Maya claims that her book is fiction, but “inspired by true events.” Hmmm.
She noted to People, “What I went through in real life is very similar to what Mallory went through in the book. I definitely did have some complications, and I did have to go to the hospital alone.” Maya has said that the project was inspired by journals she wrote during the Covid pandemic, when she was with Liam.

She made another TikTok explaining why she’s still speaking about her ex and accused him of being the “obsessed” one. “Ever since we broke up, he messages me, blows up my phone… always from different phone numbers,” Maya said. “He’ll create new iCloud accounts to message me.” WTF??
