Season 7 of Love Island USA has definitely generated more hot mess than romance, but hey, it’s severely addictive TV nonetheless. Watching over an hour of this unhinged chaos every night feels like a toxic full-time job, and some of us are even clocking overtime on Love Island TikTok and Twitter, and watching every post-villa interview on insufferable podcasts *cough* Viall Files. What can I say? It’s called having a work ethic and being passionate about something.
I would like to give a special thanks to my heroes, Taylor, Belle-A, Zak, TJ, and Jeremiah, who’ve all shared very intriguing tidbits of season 7 gossip recently. This crew is clearly ready to kick off their mega-influencer eras with a bang, so they’ve wasted no time dishing on complicated connections and major controversies. The former islanders have weighed in on everything from Nicolandria to Hurricane Huda, and I’ve been sat, taking extensive notes. Prepare yourself for boiling hot tea: Here are the revelations Love Island season 7 stars have shared so far about Nic and Olandria, Cierra’s exit, and the Huda drama.
After Taylor left Fiji hand-in-hand with Clarke, he shared rather disappointing Nicolandria insights during a chat with E!. “When they were coupled up and they tried the romantic thing, it wasn’t there,” he said. IDK, I’m confident I saw sparks even back then. “When Olandria got over the whole me-and-her situation, and her and Nic were coupled back up together, they were trying to find that romantic part, but Nic kept telling me it wasn’t there yet.” Taylor noted, “I don’t know if they have gotten that romantic part of their connection, but it’s something that I hope is real.”

And yes, he’s “rooting for her and Nic” now. “When her and Nic were a couple kissing each other in the challenges, I was right there cheering ‘em on,” Taylor told the outlet. “I have no bad blood with nobody in the villa.”
Belle-A gave Nicolandria Nation hope after she left the villa. “From the beginning… Olandria kissed Nic the very first night, and Nic expressed to me that he wanted to get to know her, and Olandria expressed to me that she wanted to get to know him,” she revealed, adding, “Constantly, it was always a thing during challenges that Nic and Olandria would gravitate towards each other, and I encouraged it.” And they called us delusional!!
Zak probably broke a rule or two by sharing details about Cierra’s exit on TikTok. He explained how it went down: “When Cierra left, the producers gathered us all together. They said, ‘Unfortunately, Cierra has broken some of the policies and our guidelines and she will no longer be here in the villa. That is the only information we can give you guys.’” Zak noted that they had a basic understanding of why she left, but they didn’t get any specifics.

“So when we were all in there, we didn’t really know what was going on,” he added. “But that is all they said to us. And if we needed someone to speak to, we can speak to them.” Zak remembered that Nic was “really upset” but at the same time, “he couldn’t express how he felt about the situation until he found out what she had done or said.”
He explained, “At the end of the day, as much as you want to feel sorry for somebody, if you know they got removed from a show for saying something offensive, you can’t really feel sorry for them until you know what it is.”

During an interview with Us Weekly, TJ revealed what happened the not he was dumped. Apparently, Iris considered leaving with him. “She was super upset and everything,” he recalled. “She’s like, ‘There’s nothing here for me anymore. I wanna leave. I wanna leave.’” According to TJ, the girls convinced her to say a little longer. “So when we had a conversation after, she was already like, ‘I’m gonna probably stay a day or two and just feel it out,'” he said.
And he encouraged her to do just that. “I was like, ‘Hey, listen, this is your experience. That’s just what you’re here for. I don’t want you to regret it.'” TJ didn’t want to take away this “once in a lifetime opportunity” from her.
When asked about Iris and Pepe’s connection, he admitted that it was “definitely a shock” in the beginning. “But looking back, I think it has been a long time coming,” he added. “They both came in together and they’ve had a lot of shared experiences and they really know each other well. If she was gonna get to know anyone, it would probably be him. I’m not mad about it.”

After the boys kicked Jeremiah off the island, he sat down with Nick Viall for a Viall Files interview (because of course). He shared what really went down between him and Huda during their short-lived romance. “It was very real and very genuine off the bat,” Jeremiah reflected. “It got a little toxic due to me not nipping in the bud the crazy expectations that she had set for me early on.”
He added, “We got really intimate really soon. That set us up for failure.” According to the season 7 star, “things were amazing up until pancake day.”
“Not to bash on her, but it was a lot of self-centeredness,” he recalled. “I noticed that in conversation with her, which is why I started to move because she didn’t really ask me questions about myself.” Apparently, they talked about her daughter a lot longer than we saw. “I remember we talked a lot about her daughter during the date,” Jeremiah said on the podcast. “Then we talked a lot about her daughter on the pink couch. We talked about her daughter for, like, 30 to 45 minutes.”
