Everything We Know About Where Kyle Stands On The Whole Morgan Wade Relationship

With a delicious new season of The Reason Housewives of Beverly Hills on the way, a lot of fans (me) have a polite plea for Kyle Richards: fish or cut the bait. That’s the PG version of the idiom you use when someone keeps stringing a situation along instead of getting to the GD point. As the queen of honesty, it’s only fair Kyle steps up to the plate when it comes to why she broke up with Mauricio and yet we’ve only heard confusing bits and pieces of what led to her split from Mau (most of which was spilled on a Netflix series I refused to watch on principle). Kyle’s relationship with country singer Morgan Wade has been a topic of discussion even before Kyle got separated, and still, fans don’t feel Kyle has opened up transparently about whether there has ever been a connection between the two — which, TBH, wouldn’t be Bravo’s business, if Kyle hadn’t voluntarily brought Morgan onto the show. (Plus, Kyle is the same Housewife who gleefully dragged Denise Richards’ private sex life from the sheets to the streets, lest we forget.) While Kyle hasn’t defined her relationship with Morgan as anything other than friends, she did recently share she had a “terrifying” conversation with her daughters about “question[ing] herself.” Kyle said the conversation was inspired by the media’s reaction to her relationship with Morgan. All of the speculation (which was fueled by moments like Kyle and Morgan flexing matching tattoos for the papz and filming a “curious” music video where they played neighbors in a torrid affair) made Kyle “think like this” for the first time in her life. Knowing her kids “just want [her] happy” regardless of who she dates in the future, made the mother of four comfortable to joke about the Morgan-related teasing.

At the same time, Kyle told Kelly and Mark! that any romantic insinuation about herself and Morgan was gossip “on another level” that she “doesn’t care about” as long as her kids are okay.

Kyle also told the Realitea podcast that she and Morgan did spend less time together at one point because of the pressure of the Bravo spotlight. Regardless of the space, Kyle and Morgan went on a safari in South Africa during the summer of 2024 alongside Morgan’s manager. Kyle has maintained she ignores the rumors about her friendship with the 29-year-old Nashville singer. The latest rumor from “an insider,” as first reported in Reality Blurb, claims Kyle allegedly may have been considering announcing a romantic relationship during RHOBH season 14 with her longtime friend that she ended up holding back on.
