Who needs overpriced tickets to the Lifetimes Tour when you can watch the bazillion cringe clips on TikTok for free? Katy Perry, pop singer-songwriter icon-turned painfully fake feminist x Elon Musk stan, has been going viral for all the wrong reasons recently. The internet finds her attempts at dancing and her chaotic, tacky costumes hilarious, and now, there’s a new video of the singer having a wild conversation with a fan at her show in Las Vegas. Katy seemingly stopped the show to squat down and accuse a fan near the stage of trying to “steal [her] man,” Orlando Bloom. She even warned the concertgoer: “I’ll have you removed.” Was she actually being serious? Or was this just an elaborate bit to introduce her next song on the set list, “I’m His, He’s Mine”? Here’s the video of Katy Perry warning a fan to stop DM-ing Orlando Bloom, plus everything we know about the mid-show interaction.

Per the TikTok, Katy appeared to recognize a fan in the crowd and approach them. “Cute grin,” she said to the person, whose name is Kyle. “I know why you’re here.” The crowd around him started cheering, “Get his ass!” (which immediately indicates this was an unserious moment). Katy fake-warned, “Listen, if you keep DM’ing my man… Oh, Kyle? I know, I know. You’ve been doing it for months, ever since the [Play] residency.” Low-key, maybe she should channel this intense scorpio energy into an acting career because I did think this was a serious exchange for a second there.
“You didn’t come to see me play,” Katy kept going. “If you keep on DM’ing my man, I’m going to have you removed. Seriously, get your own life. I’m his wife.” When Kyle tried to hand her something, she refused, responding, “I don’t want it. I’m his. I said I’m his. Stay the fuck away.” Katy walked away as the “I’m His, He’s Mine” intro music began to play, and Kyle just stood there in a state of delighted disbelief.
Kyle joked in his caption, “In my homewrecker era.” While lots of people congratulated him in the comments, many didn’t understand that this was all a joke. “This is a song transition and not real lmfaooo,” one fan clarified in the comments. “I’m His, He’s Mine” is a track on Katy’s latest (abominable) album, 143. Even the Doechii feature can’t save that song, I fear.
Welp, happy for you, Kyle.
