If Your Spotify Wrapped Isn't Super Embarrassing, Here's How To Post It On IG

Spotify Wrapped is the Pumpkin Spice Latte of December. It’s kind of embarrassing and cheugy to post, but it’s also impossible to avoid. Soon, despite your best efforts, you’ll learn which Taylor Swift song your 2011 dorm RA Sarah has been listening to on repeat — spoiler, it’s most definitely “So High School” — and you’ll get to see who is proudly posting that Zach Bryan is their most listened to artist of the year. I suggest you unfollow that individual.

Luckily this year, we should be seeing a lot of the Pop Girlsin the top spots. Chappel Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift gave us everything in 2024 and I’m sure our wraps will respond accordingly. Or, if you’re a real sicko (positive connotation), we may even see the Wicked movie soundtrack break into your Top Artists. Here’s how to see your Spotify Wrapped 2024.

When Does Spotify Wrapped 2024 Come Out?

Based on previous years, your 2024 Wrapped should be available by either the last week of November or the first week of December. And because it’s likely that you won’t be able to help yourself (unless you’re like me, and your most-played songs are “Box Fan For Sleep” and Blink182 songs from the early 2ooos), here’s how you share your Spotify Wrapped on your Instagram Story. Just please, please don’t post it on your Facebook. Mortifying.

So, when you get your Spotify Wrapped, it will pretty much look like an Instagram Story already. You can click through all of the different highlights; each slide details a different portion of your listening habits, like your top music genres, how many minutes you’ve listened, your most-played songs, and top artists. Once you find a slide you want to share to your followers, you select “Share This Story” at the bottom of the screen. Then you click “Instagram Stories” from the list, which should be the first option, and it will be automatically added to your story. Very simple.

*User be warned: If you choose to post your Spotify Wrapped, you can pretty much guarantee you’ll get at least four DMs from a Chad or a Brad you went to high school with either complimenting or flirty criticizing your choices. “Wowwwww… let me send you some real music.” It’s a lose-lose situation, tbh.

If something comes over you and you’re *really* feeling self-indulgent, you can make your Spotify Wrapped a feed post, too. There are just a few extra steps involved. So, again, you click “Share This Story,” then choose the “Download Image” option, which is further down the list. This will save the slide to your camera roll. Once it’s on your phone in your photo library, you’re free to go to your IG and post it like any other photo. However, unless you’re Barack Obama, you should estimate you’ll get about 12 likes on this grid post. But do you, I guess.
