Skorts Are For Wimps! Gorilla Grip Skirts Are Mini Skirts That Won't Budge

I am going to be outside this summer, okay? My friends and I have already agreed that this isn’t just going to be a “hot girl summer.” This is going to be a scalding summer. And for us, that means legs out, titties pushed up to our necks, shaking ass at any opportunity we find.

But to truly have a sexy summer, we’re setting our own dress code to abide by — aka, mini dresses and mini skirts all around. As long as the hoohah and nipples are covered, we want to see skin, skin, and more skin.

Now I know that in most situations, mini skirts and any sort of ass movement (literally how we dance) don’t usually go well together. And before you reach for that god-ugly skort, let me introduce you to a new trend I’ve been dying to try: the Gorilla Grip Skirt.

A company called Dulsè has gone viral for releasing what they named Gorilla Grip Skirts — a small line of anti-ride-up mini skirts. You can do anything you want (including cartwheels, which the creator shows a video of herself doing), and the skirt won’t budge.

No, seriously, they don’t move. The skirts right now come in four different styles: cargo, camo, black, and “fye” or tie-dye, so you can basically choose whichever one best suits your style.

So if you’re joining the “sexy summer” movement along with my friends and me, I suggest you get your Gorilla Grip skirts and get in formation. But if you’re not willing to drop $60 on a skirt, I totally understand. Here are some Gorilla Grip dupes that still stay in place but are a little more pocket-friendly:
