Spring Is For The Girly Girls!!

In partnership with Dolce Vita.

I’m calling it: Late spring is all about embracing your pretty princess vibes. From cute lil cardigans to pearl accents to hammered metal pops, anything that makes you feel like a true girly girl is fair game. And luckily, Dolce Vita has just the collection to help us look like we’re headed to the main event. Their Tea Time edit has all of the accessories you could ever want to help you embrace your inner femme. Pearls! Bows!! Blush pink heels!!! You name it, Dolce Vita’s edit has it.

But if you’re not sure where to start with the girly girl trend, never fear. I’ve put together five looks — with our favorite pieces from Dolce Vita,— that are perfect for playing dress up with your girls. Find our favorite styles below, and shop the entire Tea Time collection at Dolce Vita.

Pile On The Pearls

When it comes to pearls, more is more — at least when it comes to Dolce Vita. Both the brand’s Elloise Handbag and Anira Pearl Heels are embellished with both to an incredible degree. Add a pearl headband and these silver ball studs to your feathery pink shift to truly lean into the tea party vibes. The finishing touch? Fluorescent pink lipstick, ofc!

Shimmer and Shine

If you’re not quite into the all-pink-everything look, there are still ways to incorporate this shimmering trend into your wardrobe. I love the idea of pairing an all-denim ensemble with pops of silver, like the Dolce Vita Reyes Ballet Flats and a sparkling bucket hat. So as to not look like a total disco ball, mix in some earthy tones — like the frames of these retro sunglasses and the stripes in DV’s Corrie Clutch (which, bonus, also comes with two interchangeable straps).

Prep School Chic

One of my favorite tricks to getting dressed in the morning? Go monochrome! I was inspired by the oversized pearls on Dolce Vita’s Cadel Pearl Ballet Flats, so I decided to build an outfit that really highlighted that detail. A cozy sweater tossed over some slouchy Bermuda shorts gave this look a tomboy-chic vibe, while the ditzy head scarf and bow earrings added a little wink of femininity.

Citrus Crush

Lace-up heels like Dolce Vita’s Malabo Heels always scream night out to me, so I like the idea of pairing them with more twee pieces. A voluminous dress with huge sleeves balances out the va-va-voom of the heels, while cat-eye sunglasses and a kitschy bag add a little bit of fun.

I Love The ‘80s

Lately I have been LIVING for kitten-heeled mules paired with leggings, and the second I saw these Mezza Pearl Heels, that’s exactly how I wanted to wear them. Balance out the loud leggings with more simple accents — an oversized button-down, a white bow for the hair, and some gold dangle earrings. This look is perfect for running around town, which is why I’d pair it with Dolce Vita’s Lottie Tote to carry all of my essentials.
